Haha. Let me see what's going on in Jimmy land. Just saw a few headlines about a coach benching him and getting a staff fired.

Dude the Jimmy homers also said that Kyle was holding him back. Even had a thread about it

Got all upset when Waterbear asked the question.

Haha let's be real tho. I carried the cross here 1st and continued to carry it even during our SB run here.

Glad to see Brock going thru a rough period now,...because what he is as a player can be determined in the coming weeks.

Missing teeth, white hair? Lol. A few silvers and maybe some darkening to his pearly teef. Box dye and a little teeth whitening would spruce him up lol. The most exciting thing he has done in Vegas is go up in that jet lol. Gets the town all excited..then..💩. I still think O'Connell has some promise..we shall see.

How's he playing the victim? It definitely did get weird here for him.

I dunno....maybe by the minimal time he wanted to give the team during offseasons,...given the huge contract he was awarded?

He got weird 1st.

Hoyer nearly won 5 games in a row in 17 also

you have achieved max spin, congratulations

Yeah this is ridiculous. He won ZERO games. He was 0-9. Stop.

Hoyer was 0-6 and I'm not sure why this is such a hard concept to grasp.

https://www.ninersnation.com/2017/10/15/16479412/49ers-washington-final-score-recap-record-loss-margin-week-6

"The San Francisco 49ers set an NFL record by becoming the first team in history to lose five consecutive games by three points or less. On Sunday, they lost to Washington by two points, and over their last five games they have lost by a grand total of just 13 points.

Kyle Shanahan has spoken at length about how close things have been on the scoreboard. He's noted in the past that the 49ers could easily have been 4-1 if not for a handful of plays. Now we can say that the 49ers could easily have been 5-1 if not for a handful of plays."

Anyone with an ounce of objectivity can acknowledge that team wasn't as bad as their record indicates. Stop trying to ignore that point because it doesn't fit your narrative.

McDoofus was holding back the Raiders, they had a players meeting, basically said you suck as a HC and this has to end
he has made a mess of 2 AFC West teams now, not sure why ppl keep hiring this man, oh that's right, it's cuz of Tom Brady

History will show that Belichick was made by Brady. None of the Belichick tree had any success once they got their own gigs, and Belichick has been average at best post Brady. Reid is the better coach of that era IMO

It's interesting how it's all played out, Bill now getting humiliated weekly, as I check the old box score, dude Mac threw it 44 times for 220 yds, that's crap, they lost at home to Sam Howell. 5 ypa lol

will we see McD going back to NE?

people fought with me for YEARS calling me a "hater" just because I didn't think Jimmy was some amazing QB and the team/coaching staff in SF made him serviceable.

welp here we are. Still turning the ball over, still getting hurt, Still can't push the ball downfield etc etc.

at least he's handsome and has a massive bank account.

The debate should have ended when Stafford won the Super Bowl despite all the JG Club guys saying they'd prefer JG over Stafford for one year to win a Super Bowl.

But nevertheless, I still think Jimmy is probably their best QB right now. Unless they have some undiscovered diamond. But good lord he crashed hard. Makes you wonder how underappreciated Shanahan is.

cop out lol, what he's supposed to be good til he's 45? he ain't TB12, and he's got scars all over from his time with us

Russ is completely washed at what 34 (and really he was last year, at 33), JG is a very old 31/32, surg ages you pretty quick when you stack a bunch of surg, foot, knee, shoulder, you name it, I mean he was just taken to the hospital for a back, this is a pretty broken down old dude at this stage, he started the year on hole 16 now he's on hole 18

I've ate plenty of crow, I was a Sermon believer, I'll eat crow if Wilks doesn't get this turned also

Dude, he is 31 years old.

Yeah I think TB12 altered ppls mindset, they think guys can play til 40, that's not really the case. Russ went from cooking to cooked, he's mid 30s. JG is 32 tomorrow. And as I have said plenty a very old 32. He's underwent the knife a bunch, fans may not appreciate that, but it takes a toll, guys sometimes have health issues for life, from their time playing ball. I don't think from a health standpoint, he's a QB1, I said that all offseason, and it's what we are seeing here. Dude is cooked physically. Now if he wants to backup a guy like Stafford and play a few games a year, that was my landing spot for JG, incidentally, Stafford now injured.

Bro come on you're making this painful. 31-32 is PEAK AGE for a QB. In fact, 29,30,31 is often time about when they reach their peak. Look at Steve Young. His peak was 35 years old, and he retired three years later. Jimmy was near the top of the NFL in INT% his entire career. That's always been who he is. The biggest change for him this year was coaching and roster around him, indicating he wasn't the one leading us to wins. And look at the Dallas wild card game. He nearly stole defeat from the jaws of victory. Then the very next game attempted to hand Green Bay the game with that horrid interception trying to find Kittle late.

He put up some very good efficiency numbers. But it seems to be clear now that it was more Shanahan than Jimmy.

And yes, this does make me wonder how much of Brock's early success was Kyle. But I would say it's pretty clear that Brock has some things Jimmy didn't, so even if Kyle is propping him up, he's still better.

ah yeah.. I remember someone mentioning that lol

Jimmy just wins?

One of the better ones was Kyle's record with Jimmy versus Kyle's record with Beathard/Mullens/Hoyer...therefore Jimmy is awesome.

Yeah this one always tickled me. And whenever someone pointed out how absurd that was, nothing but crickets and fingers in ears.
