Got all upset when Waterbear asked the question.
It was a dumb question, ok JG is holding back KS, well who picked JG?
he didn't trade for himself, nor did he sign himself to a record deal
it's like a math equation, KS held back, by KS is what it reduces to, KS picked him
I admitted it was a dumb question, but I prefer to say the question itself was far too simplistic. And posted in the thread that neither Jimmy nor Kyle should be solely blamed for the offense not producing.
Although the question itself was not biased, the purpose was to expose just how unbalanced the criticism had become between Kyle and Jimmy, and how taboo it was to talk about Jimmy's struggles.
At one point, a couple days into the poll, Kyle was the leader in votes. It only became lopsided once Jimmy got hurt, which means to tell me the question wasn't pointless because it showed how equally divided the fanbase was at that point.
In reality, if you voted for Jimmy as holding the offense back (more) that doesn't automatically mean he was the main reason for our struggles, or even in the top 100 reasons, it just meant he was holding us back more than Kyle.
There were many posters angry about the question itself, because they thought it was made to criticize Jimmy. Over and over people assumed I was attacking Jimmy, based on their own preconceived biases, because again, the question was not biased.
And again, not one person assumed I was attacking Kyle with the poll question. Not one.
It was pretty clear from the results who was the most unfairly criticized person on the team. (Hint: it wasn't Jimmy)
