Well I saw both play for McDaniels and Garoppolo was better. I think for example that Jimmy is better in the shotgun with his quick release.
Plus the way Carr lost his game at the end of the season was super weird. Jimmy is what he is at this point, injury prone, will never go outside the number, take too many risks in the middle of the field, bad scrambler but he´s super tough mentally. He´s the type of QB that will make a mistake and play his best football after that like nothing happened.
I think that Carr is the better QB. He´s more talented overall but there´s something I can´t explain about him. Like there´s always something that goes wrong.
