Just don't see the upgrade between Carr and JG. I guess the benefit he is cheaper so they can invest in some linemen to protect him. Maybe it's one of those change of sceneries ideas.

Watching him in Vegas will inform us if it's scheme or JG. He was a lot more dynamic pushing it downfield in NE imo.

Just out of curiosity, what is the reason you feel Jimmy is a better fit than Carr was?

Well I saw both play for McDaniels and Garoppolo was better. I think for example that Jimmy is better in the shotgun with his quick release.
Plus the way Carr lost his game at the end of the season was super weird. Jimmy is what he is at this point, injury prone, will never go outside the number, take too many risks in the middle of the field, bad scrambler but he´s super tough mentally. He´s the type of QB that will make a mistake and play his best football after that like nothing happened.
I think that Carr is the better QB. He´s more talented overall but there´s something I can´t explain about him. Like there´s always something that goes wrong.
