Sucks to be Jimmy, apparently his time and opportunity as a 9er has ran out. The timing of his injury couldn't be more worse, especially the fact he is a FA as soon as the season ends. The 7-8 weeks is basically a none story.

I would rather have Jimmy as the backup than Josh Johnson. Jimmy should be pretty stationary anyway. Put lots of tape on it and have him as the backup starting the first game of the playoffs.

The Athletic gives us a 98% chance to make the playoffs with Purdy btw.
