Good to see Jimmy playing so good. He just needed to get back into the grove.

Been, what I believe to be, very objective in my assessment of JG. Honest when he's the problem and conversely, when he's not and treated as the scapegoat.
Yes this was Arizona, a team that, on paper, SF should destroy. Thank god they did. But this isn't based off of this game or one singular moment or four quarters...this assessment is the collective of the season.
JG is playing his best ball here since that five game season-concluding stretch of 2017. He'd look even better if not for some awful downfield drops on easy, big time passes (the Woerner drop, a couple from Ray Ray, Aiyuk in the endzone against SD, and at least one or two others.
And above all, whether you can explain or attribute it to him or not, this team wins A LOT when he's under center, and loses A TON when he's not.
I'll be first to point blame when it's his fault, and, equally, won't pile on him when it's a collective team loss or out of his hands...
But even the most biased, hate filled Garoppolo denier has to admit, in their heart, that this guy is playing darn good. Off shoulder surgery and bags-packed-outta-town.
Respectful; humble; consummate teammate and leader.
Thanks Jimmy!

If Jimmy throws for 30 TDs this season and wins SB MVP then what kind of extension #s do you think we'd be looking at with Jimmy?
Time to talk to him about doing a Brady-style deal

Jimmy is playing good ball. He's also not gonna get an extension in SF. He's gonna have to be the MVP of the league and win a SB for that to be a thing.

Absolutely zero complaints here. If Jimmy can sustain this level of play throughout, we are winning the SB.

If he keeps playing like he has the past few weeks its gonna make it impossible for the niners to not resign him. He's playing like the perfect QB for this system. Lance should be worried.
