This whole thing about whether Jimmy is good or not is silly. He was okay for most of his career but rarely a standout. I have to really think hard to recall any great throws at crucial moments. Even if you believe Jimmy was better than just okay what's wrong with wanting someone better. I think every team wants a star not just a guy that's okay or good enough to win a few games. They want that guy that gives them the confidence that every time he steps on the field he's going to make it happen.

the saints game stands out..thats about it
oh and the game vs the lambs

i could quibble and say,, kittles run after the catch and deebo and jennings in those games were the key. but of course.. someone had to get the ball to them. of course jimmy deserves credit for the good things he did

That was THE game JG put the team on his shoulders. The run game couldnt keep pace, he went 4-1 TD/Int, 300+ yards, completed a 4th down pass to Kittle who then turned it into the play of the year and beat Brees in a shoot out. Even if it had resulted in a loss that was the best game he ever played or close to it.

By the way you mentioned Jennings... You realize he wasnt even on the roster in 2019 right? He was drafted in 2020

Really. The two consecutive 3rd and 16's to Bourne to help them beat the Rams. Any number of throws in that epic Saint's game. Crucial passes that led to not one but two gaming winning drives in the last few minutes of one of the Green Bay games. The passes to Kittle and Trent Taylor against the Titan's I think when he first took over the reins of the team on 2017. The list goes on and on. You must not pay very close attention when you watch the games. Maybe you're more into offensive line play. Too busy watching the guards pull to notice what the QB is doing,

Yessir. We don't make the playoffs without a Week 18 TD drive the length of the field on the road with HOF players at every level of that D and he was all busted up. It was with like a minute left in the 4th quarter do or die time season on the line. Do ppl not remember this?

Look at the whole body of work.. 98 rating that's strong.. the prob is he's missed time every year except for 2019

He'll be gone soon enough. Just making sure that none of the 31 teams out there are even willing to give up a parking space for him.

Whats the cap damage again if he is cut vs traded for a 2025 5th rounder and a bag of chips?
Lol Jimmy is all but gone. I appreciate the guys time here and have mad respect but the only ones keeping him on the forefront are guys who obviously want to continue to talk about him and sat the same things over and over and over.

Everyday I'm amazed at the comments. People act like Jimmy sucked and couldn't do anything right. When he does it's because of someone else because god forbid Jimmy actually get credit for anything good. Jimmy was clutch most of the Playoffs last year and if Tartt doesn't drop that fair catch it's possible that Jimmy's the owner of a Super Bowl MVP award. But yeah, he sucks.

(Never said Jimmy sucked for the record)

What do you mean cap damage? There is no cap damage if he's cut or traded prior to the season.. unless we eat money in the trade you mention..
