And didn't Kurt have some damn good receivers in BRUCE and holt and Faulk for a back

If Jimmy busted his shoulder or tore his acl we'd still tag him a second time. Why? Because teams would be lining up for him in free agency.

Only way he loses $ is if he settles on a deal here. I think this drags 1 season and the reason for that is his agent is going to know his leverage will be thru the roof next year.
If we had Jimmy Garappolo playing all season long, what would our record be right now?

Might sound crazy but I think we'd be at least 10-5 right now. We'd have won those fives games in which we lost by 3 points or less.

I think that's reasonable. Us and the Rams would be battling it out.

In all seriousness, is anyone worried he won't want to commit? Also, will all of this quick success go to his head.

Having this much success, why would he want to go to another system to start over again? There is no guarantee he would have the same success in another system. He will want to stay as much as we all want him to. But he will get paid big anyway.

They said during the game that Grop had commented during the pre draft visits when Shanahan worked him out that he felt an instant connection. He's happy being where he is and 0 chance he doesn't want to commit imo. It couldn't be going any better.

With Jimmy, I don't think we get swept by any the 3 in our division and would definitely have won everyone of those close games we were in...

Jimmy would be winning his 3rd SB ring had we had him from the jump

It's not through the roof already? No way a long term deal is not done before camp next year imo. Makes too much sense from both sides.

If his agent settles for anything less than the highest paid qb contract ever he's a moron.

That's why this may drag a year.
