Should be the whole season but I'm guessing 8 games

Then the NFLPA will get that reduced to 4-6

No way! with a neutral 3rd party handing out the punishment I don't see anyway it gets reduced.

Goddell has final say and he will demand a year.

If the judge chick says 8. No way Goodell says a year. But because he has final say I don't see him reducing any punishments handed out from the 3rd party

It doesn't matter what the chick hands down. Goddell will appeal it and go for a year. Otherwise, they look like they're going soft on him.

I don't see that happening. If he over rules her then it's pointless to even have a neutral party. It will be a really really bad look on Goodell if overturns her and add more games.

No it wouldn't be a bad look. Goddell and the league have said all along, they were pushing for a year. Nothing has changed - Goddell was always going to appeal, if she ruled for anything less than the year the league has been demanding.

It's not pointless, it's part of the show. If she rules the way he wants, then he's off the hook. If not, he steps in. 50/50 chance for him. And since when has Goodell EVER cared about a "really bad look"? If he did, he would have done a lot more to address the vast number of very questionable calls the last several years.

We don't need the bad mojo that would come with trading JG to a team who lost their starter during preseason. Let's give him away for free now.

Amazing that multiple posters think this way and are actually serious lol.

It's also amazing that people are holding their breath for a type of trade that has happened once in most of our lifetimes.

So you think we should cut him right now? For what strategic purpose? There is simply no good argument for cutting him right now. That's a worse take than trying to get this thread moved to NFL Talk. How triggered can the haters be by Jimmy? Good lord.

I never said we should cut him now, because to your point, there isn't a strategic purpose. I just think it's comical people are saying the reason we should keep him is for a situation thst simply doesnt happen.

But thanks for putting words in my mouth and labeling me a hater, as usual.
