The Rams don't have much of a fanbase, so it's really nice to see fans from other teams go to bat for their players

Grrr how dare we say Stafford is a good QB. I think Rogers is a good QB does that make me a packers fan? I think Brady is a great QB does that make me a NE fan?

I hated Sherm for years BUT realized he was damn good.

Stafford really deified the odds when he went to a team filled with pro bowlers/ all pros and counting on both sides of the ball. Who would've thought a good QB could win a SB with those odds against a team they were 4.5 favorites against ?!? True underdog story

at least the Seahawks built their teams for years and groomed 5th/6th rounders into eventual badasses. Rams shamelessly bought a super bowl like this was franchise mode on madden because the LA market could give 2 s**ts about them otherwise, and they STILL had more opposing fans in their home stadium for the NFC Championship game

We had more pro bowlers.

Goff took the Rams to the SuperBowl with less talent.

Everyone knows he's a good QB. To post it 1000 times is bizarre and yes gives the impression that something else may be going on here. Convo should be about Andrew Whitworth who at 40 won a SB vs his former club. Or Kupp who was the most talented NFL player this season. Or Donald who may actually retire?

For the 49ers I like our direction we did great this year with JG and Trey has us set up for the future.

Edit: Whitworth imagine being named NFL man of the year then beating your former club in the Super Bowl in your last game wow. That's quite a day.

Why can't the discussion be about how Stafford won a super bowl as soon as he escaped Detroit?

This is gold. Sums up the Ram praise going around quite well. Imagine logging on after a Seattle win and praising the Hawks or something I can't imagine

Yeah we get it they are good. Doesn't mean I have to polish their crown. But hey we went 2-1 vs these guys. Next year let's sweep em show em who is boss.

In the Rams thread
Stafford was just barely good enough to get the job done.

Either that or the Rams makeup relied so freaking heavily on Kupp and OBJ, that it really required top shelf play at the end to make it work.

If we had Stafford, I'm pretty sure it would never be THAT hard to score with all the weapons we have.

He's got great arm talent but he's susceptible to picks and missed throws. That keeps him from being a true elite QB to me......and having the Rams as his roster didn't improve that significantly from his Detroit days.

So good overall QB, well done Rams. But I'm not jealous they have except for the fact that we can't start seasons off 3-5 and expect to beat them on the road for 3rd straight victory to get the Super Bowl.

Is "gold" slang for untrue? The Rams absolutely did not have pro bowlers and all pros on both sides of the ball. AJ making stuff up as usual.
