I only wish he had more games like he had against the Saints in 2019 where his defense failed him but he made multiple big nuts throws to help win us the game... I kept holding onto hope that we would see that again one day but sigh, such is life

Jimmy is the worst QB we've had in a long time simply because he was good enough to give hope but not good enough to deliver the big game wins.

I know right, there's just no way he can play perfect football.
I mean the bar here has been set about shin high for qb play. Pretty sure trey can step over that
So you're saying the 49ers SHOULD have two NFC Championship appearances with him??
Hey two NFC Championships in what three seasons. Not bad I'd say thats a winner right there. How many QB's can say that in the NFL!!
An amazing team considering they were lugging around that anchor for those 2 runs. Ya
Oh you mean the same team that had Nick Mullens and CJ Beathard starting right. Oh yah I remember going to Super Bowls with those guys……NOOOOOT!!!!
Listen. I'm with you on the Jimmy support. I also pulled for him hard this season. I felt this team had all the pieces to win it all. I was not impressed with Lance's two starts, and unlike all the armchair quarterbacks posting here, clearly there are some flaws with his game and that's why Kyle did not want him to play.
but let's be honest…Jimmy is a liability on this team. He may not be the only reason we come up short on the big stage, but he is always one of the reasons we do. We scored 17 points in the NFCC game. We scored only 3 offensive TDs in 3 playoff games. Teams were playing the run daring Jimmy to beat them, and he couldn't do it.
just accept it dude…Jimmy is not the guy. And maybe Lance won't be either. And Niner fans are in for a rude awakening when we miss the playoffs over the next 2 years trying to figure out if he's the "one". But Jimmy…oh man, he's been a soul crusher…

I mean you guys act like Jimmy didn't do s**t the whole time he was here thats my point. Now you were saying, oh yah same ole s**t accusations. Lame
Youre the only person taking it literally. No one thinks he did NOTHING. Didnt think this had to be said on a forum full of adults.
I mean should we all hold each others dicks and just agree with each other or do I have a right to disagree??

Last question for Jimmy Garoppolo? SF QB obviously emotional after what was likely his last game with the team. pic.twitter.com/JZGL883z4i

Did we run all 3 times, then punt on 4th and 1 after the penalty?
Absolutely no trust in his QB but maybe one of those downs was the throw to Aiyuk in the dirt so I cant blame his lack of trust really.

we have the best and highest paid FB in the NFL and he was NOT used properly !!
KYLE's intelligence does not apply to being a HC and it showed... after the 1st half, one figures that he would have advised MECO to double on KUPP instead..
Because we have a QB who limits what we can do.
Jimmy's deficiencies restrict the offense to the short, middle part of the field. His accuracy issues lead to missed passes (like the one to Kittle today, or he get's players hurt, Deebo got blown up today because that pass was inaccurate) and his lack of arm strength means that he can't work the sidelines.
Kyle know this and has to adjust the offense accordingly.

don't blame Grappy for being up 10 points and losing the SB to the Chiefs..
don't blame Grappy for being up 10 points and losing the NFCCG to the Lambs..
BLAME the HC in control that allowed his DC to continue to be clueless that 10 was kickin our buns !!

+1. Best thing jimmy could do is leave a draft pick and a fat chunk of change on his way out the door

I mean, a lot of blame to go around. But, honestly, Jimmy basically played how I figured he would. I hoped he would go out with a bang. But, it was a whimper. So be it. The team really did overachieve based on where they looked to be headed early / mid season.
Will be nice to have someone else at QB though. Whether it is on Kyle or JG, the offense is so limited / condensed in its current form.
And are we still arguing winning percentage / NFCCG appearances, etc.? Jimmy has exactly zero Super Bowl titles, including one Super Bowl loss. That's literally all that matters.
GL to you JG. I don't wish you any ill will, but will be happy as a clam to see Lance at QB next year. Even though I am sure Lance's play will be riddled with "rookie" mistakes for the first half or, perhaps, entire 2022 season.
