I hope the kid gets a fair shake to develop. Being down on a 21 year old raw project isn't nearly the same as an 8 year vet making almost 30 mil a season.

This fan base demands greatness at QB and won't accept anything less. And it also doesn't help that we used 3 1st and a 3rd for Trey. We'll see. But the toxicity some are spewing on a QB with one foot out the door, and amidst a playoff run and after beating longtime rival, gives me reason to pause.

I think Jimmy has been playing very well the last two games. A lot of his INTs have been from not seeing the Robber or LB break on an inside throw: what we call, a bad read.
In the last two games, his INTS have been due to tipped balls or getting hit while throwing OR physical issue with his thumb or whatever.
In the last two games, Jimmy hasn't made a bad read like so many other games.
Jimmy G is the most clutch QB of all time🤫🔥 pic.twitter.com/mHrj2EnAU1

"It's really sad because the appreciation isn't going to start when Trey [Lance] starts playing QB, because you're not even appreciating winning.
Some of these fans aren't even appreciating the win."

Damn Rich, don't let Tyreek catch that 3rd and super long in the 4th quarter of the super bowl. We would have appreciated that win the most.

I think it's really poor for a media outlet to run this as a story. Literally every single one of Jimmy's playoff games we've been up multiple scores beginning the 4th and have been trying to salt the clock, the Superbowl was the only one he even needed to throw much in.
