Jimmy will be gone soon and everyone will be able to rejoice.

Then the toxicity can shift to Trey

Go Niners!

I hope the kid gets a fair shake to develop. Being down on a 21 year old raw project isn't nearly the same as an 8 year vet making almost 30 mil a season.

This fan base demands greatness at QB and won't accept anything less. And it also doesn't help that we used 3 1st and a 3rd for Trey. We'll see. But the toxicity some are spewing on a QB with one foot out the door, and amidst a playoff run and after beating longtime rival, gives me reason to pause.

I think Jimmy has been playing very well the last two games. A lot of his INTs have been from not seeing the Robber or LB break on an inside throw: what we call, a bad read.

In the last two games, his INTS have been due to tipped balls or getting hit while throwing OR physical issue with his thumb or whatever.

In the last two games, Jimmy hasn't made a bad read like so many other games.

atleast hes the best looking out of the group..... I hope Jimmy G somehow takes us to the 6th!!! so bad.... but he has literally no iconic throw or DAGGER throw in the playoffs ... I mean I'm wrong here cause he did have that iconic miss to sanders lol but hes our qb and go JIMMY G AND 49ERS!

Damn Rich, don't let Tyreek catch that 3rd and super long in the 4th quarter of the super bowl. We would have appreciated that win the most.

I believe that was on Moseley and Ward. Sherman gave up a big catch to Watkins.

Braddah, I know you're better than judging a player on one quarter play, like I said before, football is a 4 quartes 60 minutes game not a one or two quarter game. Don't let the talking heads lure you in with one quarter stats nonsense. If that's the case then maybe we should look into Rodgers first quarter ratings bc he's usually a slow starter. Jimmy is most likely won't be with the Niners next season, just enjoy the ride and support whoever is under Center, there's no harm in that. He's almost out the door then you guys can celebrate. At this point, I don't see the benefit of discussing his many limitations, it makes no sense he's pretty much gone after this season so what's the point? Most of you guys doubted we make the playoffs with Jimmy starting this year, well we're here now and still has a chance to get to the big ship. Like some in here said, we're playing with house money now, no matter what happens it's still a successful season from where we started, 3-5 in the first half of the season then went on a great run(8-2) to get to where we're at now and still in the tournament, 24 other NFL teams and their fans would love to be at the position we're in right now. Have faith in our Niners, have faith in Jimmy, have faith in KS and the coaching staff...it's why we proud ourselves as Faithfuls..Go Niners!! Aloha 🤙🏼

I think it's really poor for a media outlet to run this as a story. Literally every single one of Jimmy's playoff games we've been up multiple scores beginning the 4th and have been trying to salt the clock, the Superbowl was the only one he even needed to throw much in.

Views will differ:

Chris used my "Delusional" description!

I'm finally vindicated after all these years.
That being said... I hope Jimmy is watching and reading all this s**t about him. He has an opportunity to make folks forget about all of that by just executing this Saturday night.... just do his part. Hit what he needs to hit, and protect the ball.... pull that off and live to fight another week....to be able to prove himself once again...and go from there.
