I disagree, Fusco got abused today, i forget who it was but he let a defender right by him, fusco, tomlinson and kilgore all suck. You can't evaluate Garnett yet.

They need to add new interior OL, i hope they cut tomlinson and let fusco and kilgore walk.

Fusco shouldn't be counted on to be anything more than a backup, period. He was an outcast from one of the worst OL's in football, an OL which has improved quite a bit without him. If he's starting next year then ShanaLynch messed up, especially considering the depth of guard in the draft. Tomlinson and Kilgore both need to be gone.

Garnett should have the opportunity for nothing more than to compete for a spot on the roster and show that he's not a Baalke Bust.

Its better to find out that you have more talent than you need on the OL than to not have enough.

I agree. All 3 interior line positions need upgrade. Not clear to me Garnet is a good fit for this offense.

When it comes to our O-line, it isn't just about pass blocking, they are terrible at opening up running lanes too (at least the interior). We need to improve our 2 guards positions and the Center.

Hopefully Garnett pans out.

I seriously haven't paid that much attention to draft rankings, but are there any OLmen that slot in the 5-8 range since it's looking like that's where we are gonna be picking?

Fusco signed a 25 million dollar contract in 2014 after he was the 3rd best guard in all of football in 2013. Then injuries derailed him in 2015.

He is still an above average OG. Sure he can be improved upon but he is the least of our worries.

Quenton Nelson who is the best guard I've seen in a long time. Would be high for a guard but IMO he's worth it. Powerful guy with quick feet, great fundamentals and awareness.
