Why would the Broncos trade for JG though? Unless It's for a 4/5th round pick, I don't see It happening.

Id take that deal in a heartbeat. lol

Yeah I would take that deal at this point. Broncos don't have an answer at QB and maybe they are willing to give Jimmy a shot for the rest of this year.

Why would the Broncos want a QB that has OBVIOUS issues throwing in bad weather? Denver has worse weather than Santa Clara, yes?

Not really. Denver has more sunny days than most of the country. Now the temperature of half those days is all over the place. But really there is only a couple big storms here a year and lately most of them have come after the season is over. Even when they hit, the snow is gone within a couple days due to being a mile high and dry.

For me it has nothing to do with the weather. I don't know why Denver would trade for a player who plays like Jimmy G.

Yeah, getting a 4th for him with the salary dump would be a gift from whoever takes him. I could see a 5th though. But Bridgewater is basically the same player as Jimmy G and Lock sucks, his only advantage is that he is willing to throw it deep.

But JG isnt going anywhere. If we run Lance like we do and he is already injured.... think Shanny really wants to roll with Sudfield?

A really good team can mask a QBs deficiencies. But once the team isn't that great anymore, that's when a QB needs to step up and then you really see what they are made of.

Though for some reason people thought Jimmy was really good and could do this for us. Ignoring his inability to use the whole field, or even see the whole field. His average pocket presence. On top of his bonehead plays every game that he still does after all these years, and lack of fire that you see from other great QBs.

I'm not saying only complaint but main complaint.

Lol air yards were NEVER a main complaint about Jimmy. You should realize we're on a messageboard here arguing points back and forth. If we were all sitting in the same section for a 49ers game there'd be no need to, but on here, it's a good thing to be able to support a point you are making with words and numbers as references. I think you're trying to turn it into a bad thing and it's just not gonna fly.

Where is he ranked right now in air yards?

I said Bridgewater is better than Jimmy before the season and I still stand by that statement.

Don't you dare do that to my boy Tim Rattay. He had a stronger arm than Jimmy. 😁

Its honestly a coin flip week to week. The announcers were laughing at his inability to push the ball downfield too. Denver has some decent weapons on offense that he cant take advantage of either.
Insanity to stick with JG as the starter from now.

Tim Rattay would have taken that 2019 team to the Super Bowl.
Peace comes from learning to accept what we cannot control. We can control Chicago. I see a big game here from JG. Thought he ran the no huddle to perfection vs IND was stunned how quick he was getting plays off. Let's keep it rolling.

It's always Jimmy's next game that will be good, cut it off. Start Lance. If Kyle drags this on we'll be saying he needs more time to develop Lance when we suck again next year

"I guess he will start'.

"I guess I'll call a play where we throw on 3rd down when if I run the ball and we kick a FG, we win a Super Bowl."

OVER-RATED!

When its a coin flip between a $27M quarterback and a $4M quarterback, there is a problem.

It SHOULD be pinned on Jimmy. He made a TERRIBLE pre-snap read. Look:

The safety covering the middle of the field was several yards past the left hash at the snap. He vacated the middle before the ball was even snapped. Jimmy simply made up his mind on where he was throwing and did not for even one second read the defense. This is Colin Kaepernick level of QB play right here.

I stepped away from the TV and didn't get back in time to see this play.

I'm not blaming the game (or season) on Jimmy, as there are a lot bigger problems than him. But yeesh. This is bad. Really bad. You can't miss this level of open. You just can't.

The worst part is he through into triple coverage for the int to Deebo.

That picture hurts. IND showed pressure but backed out. Yeah, Jimmy made up his mind presnap that Deebo was going to get this target. Deebo should have caught that pass.

JIMMY did not see Sanu because the freakin play does not ask Jimmy to drop back any deeper for him to see the whole field, and this is part of the GIMMICK OFFENSE where KYLE has thought his QB to drop back and get rid of the ball ASAP to the initial target...

There is NO PROGRESSION in his GIMMICK OFFENSE.

That's complete made up b******t. If there was no progression or room to throw elsewhere, why would Sanu hold up his hand, begging for the ball?

This "no progression" b******t is nothing but something the Jimmy Cult tells themselves to make them feel better and explain away Jimmy's mental mistakes.

Great points. I too think Lance ought to play if he's healthy. Health is the big question for him. Needs to get to the practice field and get all the reps he can to be out there on Sundays. If he's healthy play them both.
