I'm not saying only complaint but main complaint.

Lol air yards were NEVER a main complaint about Jimmy. You should realize we're on a messageboard here arguing points back and forth. If we were all sitting in the same section for a 49ers game there'd be no need to, but on here, it's a good thing to be able to support a point you are making with words and numbers as references. I think you're trying to turn it into a bad thing and it's just not gonna fly.

This season was destined for 4-12 or 6-10 (with the injuries to some of the starters also) at best as soon as Trey Lance was drafted and Jimmy G was on the way out.

You can't expect much from Jimmy G since then, and now that the 49ers are out of playoff contention, you have no choice but to start Trey and take the risk and reward with it cause you won't get much from Jimmy, that was expected.

If Jimmy G was a competitive guy he would have balled out as a way of showing SF they made a mistake

If JG decided he was done and took his 100 + million contract and curled up in a ball with no passion for the competition then drafting a replacement was 100% the right thing to do

Nobody changed their position. Jimmy isn't the main problem. They went 13-3 with him. The entire team sucks right now. We wanted to stick with Jimmy because we thought the niners would be contenders this year. Whats the point of playing Jimmy at this point now that the season is done?

The organization has made the decision that Trey is the future. Fine. This season is over, and Jimmy is not the future. At this point you have to put in trey. Give him the experience to see if he can develop.

They went 13-3 with a top D and running, not sure how many times this needs to be brought up. They were 20th in passing attempts. Just don't f**k it up Jimmy.

like a lot of people said spending $26M on a lame duck QB that isn't gonna elevate a worse roster was dumb. Hoping to strike Lightning in a bottle was silly. That's on the whole organization and the fans that wanted to argue that. Is what it is now….get Lance healthy and start playing him.

Just for s**ts and giggles…IAY directly played a part in the Colts winning last night.
Trade him or cut him.

Why you ask?

As soon as Trey faces some adversity, the Jimmy stans will be back and demand that Jimmy be placed back in the starting lineup.

This is why you can't have two starting QBs on the roster. This dark cloud needs to be removed and dealt with.
He wasn't great, but the worse thing about last night was our secondary.

He wasn't even under that much pressure last night (or this season for the most part).

and to think we could have had Tom Brady right now.

I really don't care if it's going to fly or not honestly. I'll take my bumps and bruises and man up to you guys having your fun but at the end of the day I'll be supporting the QB that's playing. Jimmy is not winning us games right now and he had his chances yesterday and failed, no excuses. I thought he'd have us 3-3. He doesn't. As far as "air yards", in other words the deep ball I stand by my post that it was one of your main complaints.

Totally worth $26M and passing on Brady.

That's a bit harsh. Grossman's QB rating was 73.9 in the year the Bears went to the Super Bowl and he never played well for any stretch of his career.

Jimmy is just terribly mediocre. He's not bad.
