Pause it at the 5 sec mark
Totally disagree man. Who exactly was covering Aiyuk? Wrong read pre-snap and there's no way you can justify that otherwise. Clean pocket as well.
JG can't throw it there as Aiyuk is not even past his defender. JG would need to rainbow it to him.
As for clean pocket, yes He could have held it longer but the guy covering Aiyuk is staring at JG with Aiyuk in front of him. if JG hold the ball the defender runs with Aiyuk 17 sec mark

JG needed to wait a hair longer for Kittle to come open, instead he promptly checks it down and then doesn't even lead McKinnon, pass is behind him. Not an ideal end of half 2 minute drill. Just takes more yards off the board. Maybe could've gotten in scoring range. pic.twitter.com/qSi7tSlSbb
This is where Madrid shows his bias, kittle comes open because of the throw to the RB, the defemder is in position to close on the quick out if he sees the qb move that direction. It's still a bad pass but he's reaching here.

Rainbow it to him?
Aiyuk was matched up against a flat footed MLB and he was streaking full speed. That should be an easy pass for a high level high school QB. That's an easy six, or big play at the minimum (safety may have caught him from behind)

Yes he is reaching on that. LB fell off Kittle once he knew Jimmy was going to Jet. Amateur take from Rich there.

Going back to "the expected". This just a quarterback taking what the offense gives him, a wide open throw. Basic stuff all NFL QB's can do. pic.twitter.com/iTxPTJvH6z

He just posted that play and said, "good throw by Jimmy. Aiyuk has to stack the corner and help his QB out."
Ok....I'm done with him with crao like that
This?
Now, Garoppolo was also the beneficiary of some bad receiver errors too.

Aiyuk does a great job beating his guy downfield and Jimmy throws it to a spot where Aiyuk should get it. But Aiyuk needs to stack this defender behind and make his QB's job easier. Rookie mistake. pic.twitter.com/yqULieFc1Z
Yeah....he said yesterday or the day before that Jimmy needed to throw it inside, not outside.
I posted the play, said, "you want Jimmy to throw towards the middle safety and not the sideline? Aiyuk is running a corner route."
I then said Aiyuk needs to stack the corner, he said it didn't matter.....

Agree with you on that one JD, that was a good ball. See it all the time, Aiyuk gotta stack and come back to get it, CB wouldn't even know it

That's what he said he needed to wait. That was the proper pre-read and he should have known that. He instead lock-in on Kittle.
Who's guarding Aiyuk? A LBer? The safety was almost 10 yards away from him because of the two other WRs...it was a completion, which is great but yet again Jimmy left yards on the field.
That's a missed explosive play and Aiyuk knew it!

Looks like he changed his tune a little, he's not blaming Jimmy for that play maybe after you told him he rewatched. I thought that was a quality throw.
