It's wild how we have all this data of JG making great throws while getting blasted, but on this one very obviously bad overthrow we get all kinds of excuses except the correct one: it was just a bad throw. Deal with it. https://t.co/bF8gqJZ9LZ

"It's wild how we have all this data of JG making great throws while getting blasted..."
He's not lying.
Pretty sure NYs comment was all encompassing of the entire tweet, that included. So defensive
If it was encompassing the entire tweet, then why focus on one bad throw versus "all of this data of JG making great throws while getting blasted?"
It was a bad throw, he missed a wide open WR, who did nothing to help his QB. Overall he played a solid game, the offense looked better, we won the game. WTF are y'all complaining about? Not having Patrick Mahomes? Lol ridiculous.
Woah brah, time of the month? I'll let NY answer that on if it was all encompassing. How the hell is Juice supposed to help Jimmy on that, I don't understand what you mean by the WR did nothing to help his QB? Where is Mahomes coming from? So defensive

Why do you keep posting this douchebags tweets? Of course it was a bad throw. Overall jimmy was good. s**t happens, let's move on.
Yup plain and simple as this DD. That Ted guy is a douchebag too, scroll through his tweets for a good laugh, he's the biggest Jimmy defender ever lol. I apologize if Ted is one of you guys, but man he takes excuses to another level
I just went through Teds twitter and I'm pretty sure Ted would take Jimmy G over A-A-ron Motha f**kin Rodgers. Which immediately tells me he's a homer but he says he's not

Not sure what you're getting at here with the insults, but let's be adults and debate since this is a forum for such conversations. Agree?
Juice isn't necessarily "supposed" to do anything special, but WR's do that all the time to help their QB's. Instead he couldn't decide which way to turn, lost speed, and the ball ended up being overthrown. That was my point. Regardless, it was a bad throw and miss to a wide open WR, no one is disputing that.
What anyone sensible IS disputing is this notion that Jimmy is a horrible QB who misses wide open WR's all the time. Even in this tweet which was intended to be an insult to Jimmy, he admits that JG makes a lot of great throws while getting blasted. Yet the haters are clinging to this one throw/miss. Lol. It's pathetic.
Lastly, I mention Mahomes because that's who the haters continue to point to that we "should have had." They're still bitter that we drafted Solomon Thomas instead of Mahomes, and bitter that Jimmy G isn't as good as him. So they disparage Jimmy every chance they get and continue to say "we need a franchise QB." As if the Niners have options to get a franchise QB like Mahomes and are just ignoring it. Again, pathetic.

Madrid knows his stuff, I'll give him that. He writes for the webzone sometimes, however, he's also been working with Grant Cohn and is becoming very Cohn like. To me, he's starting to play this game where he's going to act like he's smarter than everyone else and makes statements, then tries to prove his points.
Like, I accidently clicked on a Grant Cohn article before week 1 cause I didn't think about how he does stuff for SI now. In the opening line Grant wrote, "I told you Kinlaw wasn't ready, I told you he wasn't going to be a starter". Told who, Grant? Who's arguing with you? What kind of crap is this when a writer feels the need to justify themselves vs a crowd. I've never once seen Maiocco or Barrows arguing in an article against air. Madrid is becoming the same way. I've had people respond negatively on my twitter to my takes, you just move on. Madrid takes it personal.

Agree, I apologize if you felt insulted by my comment, just didn't understand why you seemed to get so triggered by my original post.
The
haters
are clinging on to this throw because blame is being put elsewhere for it. That tweet is blaming the oline, shoot even you initially said that the WR didn't help the QB, insinuating that it wasn't just simply was a bad throw by the QB. That's the reason. People just have a hard time calling a spade a spade and when called out on something It's hating. Like you, I consider it pathetic that we just can't seem to discuss our QBs flaws like any other player on the team without some types of excuses or blame being pointed elsewhere and then being labeled a hater for it. Pathetic. I do agree with you that some people disparage Jimmy more than he deserves, but in that same breath, some people defend him more than he deserves too and only see glitter and rainbows with him. Such is life on a board specifically created for discussion of this teams players I guess right?

Apologizing for someone else's reaction is not an apology. Moving on.
Exactly zero people here "only see glitter and rainbows" with Jimmy. No one says he's perfect or even elite. NO ONE. On the flip side, there are now at least 10-15 haters who say he sucks and some even say he shouldn't be in the league. You're creating a false equivalency between these two groups.
Jimmy is defended in here quite a bit, specifically because those 10-15 haters are over the top and unrealistic with their expectations.

I apologized for my comment that you felt insulted by, It's literally in black and white. Don't know what thread you been following, but this one has put Jimmy in the elite category more times than I can count. I've seen top 5 and that puts him in the thinking of tier 1 elite QB. 10-15 haters stating he sucks and should be out of the league is an obvious exaggeration. You're creating a false equivalency with people simply wanting more from their QB to hater. I don't know how we got to this point by me just saying that I think NYs post was all inclusive, including Jimmy making excellent throws despite being blasted and in the face of pressure, but this is exactly what I'm talking about on how defensive people get at any type of criticism, even if It's just percieved that way.

Even calling him elite or top 5 (I've not read that once but I'll take your word for it) is not "only seeing glitter and rainbows." No one would say he's a perfect QB, and everyone can admit he makes mistakes. But the haters can't even admit that he's a good QB. They say he's bottom 10, a backup, shouldn't be in the league, gets carried, etc. Again, it's pathetic. The hate for the guy by some is outrageous. He's a good looking guy who's rich - jealousy maybe? I'm not sure, but it has nothing to do with his play on the field, which has been above average and at times, great. He is clearly good enough to get us to the Super Bowl and win it, and has the potential to be elite with Shanahan calling plays. QB play and offensive success takes time, fans would be wise to be patient. And hell, thankful. There are 15-20 teams that would die to have our "problems" at QB and on offense.

Now that we've lost Garland, are people going to argue Jimmy can save an offense anchored by Grasu?
We don't expect a Bosa-type pass rush without a Bosa. How do we then expect great OL play without a starting center (Richburg)?
Great point. To go further, we don't expect the other DL to being able to pass rush as well without Bosa. So how do we expect the same QB play without a starting center and terrible OL play?

This team needs a young stud center that can anchor the line for the next 10 years. I know they're hard to find but they can make a huge difference. They not only call the signals but they can stop that rush up the middle. It takes some of the pressure off the guards so they can help out in other places. It's not a glamorous position but great lines nearly always have a great center. The Steelers nearly always have a great one (like Mike Webster). Those old Raiders teams in the 70's had one of the greatest ever (Jim Otto). The Niners had a real stud when the had Forrest Blue.
