It's just easy to see the parallels between kap and jimmy.

Both lit it up and then proceeded to have their weaknesses exposed.

A poster posted earlier. If your quarterback sucks it's far better than if your quarterback is middling and proceeds to just do enough to keep his job. This leads to teams with a good record when the ball bounces their way and middling around 8-8 when it doesnt.

I believe jimmy g is that middling Andy dalton, Matt stafford, level of qb who will never win a superbowl and will proceed to give us a decent record until we lose all our talent and go back to the dark in between years before we just load up again of talent for suckING for so long. He then will get replaced with a new younger qb way too late.

Pretty asinine statement right there unless you think Garoppolo is just as good as Patrick Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady, Wilson. They are elite and clearly better than Jimmy Garoppolo, Nick Mullens, and everybody else. With that clearly established, the elite category is a club that Jimmy hasn't been invited to or belong in so that would put him in the good to very good(on his best day) category. I give Jimmy the slight edge because of his strong leadership ability and intangibles but that's it. Mullens is our backup QB that is capable of not just starting for the 49ers, but he could start for other NFL teams too.
