LMFAO!

So your bias just because "you don't like his personality" yet anyone should take your posts serious! Lol

At least your honest and "don't like his personality"!!

What the f**k does he personally do that you don't like him!!!??

Like I said, so many clowns posting you can't help but get a great laugh coming in here!

I don't care if you take my post seriously. You can not like someone and be objective at the same time- at least from a distance.

He just rubs me the wrong way. I don't know why. However, I don't believe that's affected my view of his play, other than I quicker to give up on him.

Also, no need to call me a "clown" because I don't like him personally. Many people dislike Kap for their own reasons.

Butting in here... I would say its very difficult and often times impossible to speak objectively about someone you dislike.

Exactly!

You think he act arrogant & I see him as a very humble dude.

Wow, different viewpoints..
I listed why I think he's Humble above.

Love to hear why you think the dudes arrogant.
I'm not one to be overly judgmental on other teams but first no punt game in 27 years?

It's such a rare thing you either have a HoF QB (Steve Young) or you have well below average opposition. I doubt there's been many times a team hasn't punted over the last 30 years. Giants had the 30th ranked defense on 3rd down per the stats shown on the screen.

It's probably like under ten times over a few thousand games. We win with backups against a hungry desperate team, and first thought is Joe Montana was playing?

Gotta give Jimmy his dues the for making it to a superbowl and blowing a lead to lose it the same way you gotta give shanaHan his dues for making it to 2 sbs and blowing them both.

gotta give it to the defense for being the reason why we made it to the sb but when they choked away a 4th quarter lead they get no blame, truly remarkable

Exactly this, the blame is equal parts Jimmy/Shanahan/Defense. If one of those 3 played well in the 4th we woulda had #6.

Dude...I haven't even cared enough to look into it. I don't need to explore my feelings about our starting qb. I feel how I feel, so be it. It makes no difference in anyone's life. It's not like I was rooting against him in the SB. If he got benched tomorrow I wouldn't care. If he went on to be the elite QB I thought he was, I would be ecstatic.

My guess is my real issue with him had nothing to do with him. It had to do with the way this fan base treated Kap and how they swooned over Jimmy. It kind of made me not like him for a while. And yes, it's possible I mistook his quietness for arrogance. Again, big deal.

The thing that irks me the most is how people make all kinds of excuses for this guy, when all the same issues he's dealing with Kap dealt with more and people were ruthless.

I doubt that since most games we're won by us running the ball, and playing solid defense overall.

Just for some perspective, and to show how two different matrixes look:

The NFL rating system has Jimmy at #6 with a rating of 118.6. Mullens at #19 with a 95.5 rating.

Pro Football Focus has Jimmy at #22 with a 69 rating. Mullens at #16 and a 74 rating. Jimmy low average. Mullens high average.

JG has arguably played a tougher opponent than Nick.

Way too soon to be betting the mortgage on either one. The Giants are BAD. The Jets are BAD. Let's see what happens after the Philly and Miami games. Until then, let's enjoy a relatively easy run. It gets tougher.

This is such an unfair analysis. Anyone who watches the games can tell the difference, despite the stats. Sure the Jets suck, but most of our offensive weapons where down because of injury. No Kittle. No Mostert. No Deebo. No Coleman. Not even Reed for half the game.

Just be honest, Mullens attempted passes (and completed them), that I haven't since Jimmy attempt since early last year with any regularity. For whatever reason, he's been completely shell shocked. Also, if you watch other teams besides the Niners, you would see that Jimmy rarely takes any good risks.

Go back and read my post again.

I was showing two different sides of the same subject.

It's hard for the defense to maintain a lead when the offense is doing absolutely nothing every drive and you're going against one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game. I don't blame the defense at all for what happened. They played their hearts out for 3 and half quarters, but Jimmy gave them nothing and eventually they wore down.

A kings ransom is what we need to win #6!

Exactly. Expecting a tired D to constantly stop the most potent Offense in the league is asking far too much Imo. Especially since the chiefs Offense was allowed to hold all game.

You're not a fan of Garoppolo because of how people treated Kap?

That makes doesn't sense about it.

Over the years I have learned that people's judgement/analysis of a specific QB is directly related to how much they like said QB. The excuses for one QB are not afforded to others. The praise for one QB is not given to others. Nothing new here.
