They rag on jimmy for his mobility yet want to replace him with a guy with a weak arm and 0 mobility, weird.

niners need to draft a QB to groom like Lamar Jackson and Mahomes with some serious wheels. someone like that in shannys offense would be insane with all these weapons

Mahomes and Lamar Jackson don't grow on trees lol

obviously lol. but someone who can move. there are small school guys that can ball out, Kyle can develop them

Jimmy is more physically gifted. It's too bad that he's apparently a mental midget. He also isn't that mobile anymore since the ACL tear and his advantage in arm strength is often mitigated by his poor mechanics.

I want the QB that is capable of consistently executing the plays that are there to be made and that hasn't been Jimmy. Mullens lead the offense to its first zero punt game in 27 years. That's great execution.

hes plenty mobile, hes never been kyler or russ.

mental midget? is this the critique now? lol

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Like when we talk about jimmy have the luxury to sit behind Brady for 4 years and
took one week for people to forget what jimmy was doing on one foot lol. Jimmy is the QB, Mullens is the best backup in the nfl and should bring a kings ransom in trade when we are ready to unload him, but this is Jimmy's team
This is Jimmy's team until he really starts stinking up the place. The dude helped lead us to a super bowl. People have zero respect lol.

On WZ, it depends on the QB you are talking about if actual game experience or sitting and learning is more important.

Gotta give Jimmy his dues the for making it to a superbowl and blowing a lead to lose it the same way you gotta give shanaHan his dues for making it to 2 sbs and blowing them both.

Just for some perspective, and to show how two different matrixes look:

The NFL rating system has Jimmy at #6 with a rating of 118.6. Mullens at #19 with a 95.5 rating.

Pro Football Focus has Jimmy at #22 with a 69 rating. Mullens at #16 and a 74 rating. Jimmy low average. Mullens high average.

JG has arguably played a tougher opponent than Nick.

Way too soon to be betting the mortgage on either one. The Giants are BAD. The Jets are BAD. Let's see what happens after the Philly and Miami games. Until then, let's enjoy a relatively easy run. It gets tougher.

This is such an unfair analysis. Anyone who watches the games can tell the difference, despite the stats. Sure the Jets suck, but most of our offensive weapons where down because of injury. No Kittle. No Mostert. No Deebo. No Coleman. Not even Reed for half the game.

Just be honest, Mullens attempted passes (and completed them), that I haven't since Jimmy attempt since early last year with any regularity. For whatever reason, he's been completely shell shocked. Also, if you watch other teams besides the Niners, you would see that Jimmy rarely takes any good risks.

Did Mullens not play vs the same Jets team?

When Jimmy played vs Arizona without Deebo, Aiyuk and a center off the PS did you bring up the guys he was missing?

Jimmy rarely takes any good risks...please like what is a good risk?

I'm sure you're not in here b***hing if he makes some of those risks and they get picked?

A good risk is a calculated risk....not throwing it up for grabs as you fall out of bounds like Jimmy. I mean the type that Mullens takes. Like chucking it 20 yards down field to your WR, instead of taking the easy dump off.

Also, I can't believe your talking about Mullens in the Jets game? Clearly nerves got the best of him. He did settle down and once had a chance to practice, killed versus the Giants.

Jimmy's earning 27 million a year, he should destroy the Jets. Mullens can only afford a low budget Walmart 9ers hat on his salary...

You realize Mullens threw a couple of up for grabs balls that could've been easily picked? It happens to all QBs.

Which plays were ones where Mullens chucked it down the field instead of taking the easy dump off?

And speaking of that...I'm sure I wouldn't be able to find a post from you or others b***hing about Jimmy throwing it up when all he needed was taking the easy dump off right?
Its not worth it. We will never agree and I'm not going to go digging to prove something you'll never agree with anyway.

Not I am not a Jimmy fan. I don't like him personally, for no other reason, I just don't like his personality.

He played like an ALL-TIME Great in 2017. Since then, even before ACL issues, he's looked pedestrian.

Don't give me stats, they are tainted in my opinion. I've watched every game multiple times. I don't believe in him.

" I don't like him personally, for no other reason, I just don't like his personality."

LMFAO!

So your bias just because "you don't like his personality" yet anyone should take your posts serious! Lol

At least your honest and "don't like his personality"!!

What the f**k does he personally do that you don't like him!!!??

Like I said, so many clowns posting you can't help but get a great laugh coming in here!

I don't care if you take my post seriously. You can not like someone and be objective at the same time- at least from a distance.

He just rubs me the wrong way. I don't know why. However, I don't believe that's affected my view of his play, other than I quicker to give up on him.

Also, no need to call me a "clown" because I don't like him personally. Many people dislike Kap for their own reasons.

Butting in here... I would say its very difficult and often times impossible to speak objectively about someone you dislike.

Your kidding right?
You don't like someone, but yet you don't think that doesn't affect how you view his play!!??Lol
Of course it affects your view of his play.
Whatever on that..
I just don't get it..
Dude doesn't talk cocky or arrogant in the media. Keeps a low profile. Seems like a pretty good leader overall. Plays damn well. Totally seems like a team player. Isn't doing commercials. Not Throwing no-look passes thinking he's the dude. Definitely not pretending to be someone he's not or acting better than or thinking he's better then he is.

Big one for me.. doesn't throw others under the bus when they f**k up. Just goes out and plays.

What exactly About him "rubs you the wrong way!!??"

Not to get technical ...but I don't "hate" the guy. It's probably more accurate to say, "I'm not a fan." He just seems arrogant to me, but it's not like I sit in my room throwing darts at his poster, or drawing funny faces....

I don't sit around hoping he bombs so Mullen comes in. At the end of the day I care more about the team winning, unlike some Alex Smith and Kap haters.
