And which team is yours that you felt the need to join another team's thread and troll? Cuz I'm pretty certain unless you're a Chiefs fan we ran all over your ass last year.

He's a Hawks fan mad that they are on the down slide and we're only getting started.

That explains it.

They really stopped our run game at their "house of terrors" when our OL was actually somewhat healthy at a 5.3 YPC clip. And our no arm strength or accuracy QB outplayed Wilson.

Absolutely.

That bum Wilson can only operate in two minute drills and off schedule. I wonder what his QB rating was the first 3 quarters? Probably awful like it was against the Rams and Cards.

Damn right.

It's so funny. They have Wilson who love him or hate him gets them a decent amount of wins........but what else do they have?

They used to rub it in our faces that the 2012 draft (along with the 2010 and 2011 draft/FA) was going to be repeated in perpetuity, and now that just about the entirety of those players are gone (save Bobby Wagner), we see the inevitable first/second round exit each year from them.

Meanwhile, the QB with no arm strength or accuracy gets the 49ers into a Super Bowl.

So Hawk fans have completely failed to acknowledge one or more of the following:

a) SF has superior FO
b) SF has superior HC
c) SF has superior defense
d) SF has superior QB

Because once upon a time you could arguably say they had all of those things (or most) at the same time.

Now, it's so little , nearly none.

The truth hurts:

Great defense, a violent Lynch, and a game manager Wilson was/is their best formula.

Meanwhile we have made two Super Bowls using a formula similar to theirs and a totally new one, two different QBs as well.

Would trade Jimmy for Wilson and not think twice about it.

LOL @ "bum Wilson."

Said no one outside of the Bay Area. Absolutely laughable.

Oh and LOL @ "bum Wilson."

Wilson's version of 13-3 with the 49ers would have the Niners in nail biting moments the entire 16 games, with some flashy big throws, instead of nice consistent offense.

To each their own.

Yeah I guess. I find the idea that Jimmy is the superior QB is to be comical. And I think an overwhelming majority of NFL fans/analysts/talking heads would agree.

I like Jimmy exponentially more, so theres that haha

Jimmy G. or Russell Wilson would be a very hard decision if I had to decide between the two. In all honesty though, unbiased opinion, I would probably give the edge to Jimmy G as my QB, only because of what he did in his first full season as a starter. Gotta admit, starting his first full season and taking his team to the Super Bowl is pretty damn impressive. Wilson vs. Denver wasn't all that impressive at all to be honest, seriously, 200 yards and two TD's, while Denver was held to 8 points, that was ALL defense in that game. BUT, Wilson IMO, is still one of the best QB's in the NFL, definitely top 5.

Sorry guys. This is absurd. I have no problem with liking Jimmy more. I like Jimmy more. But Russ is an MVP candidate every year. Jimmy has never played at that level.
Wilson is easily the better QB right now. But he wasn't great early on with Seattle and matured. We'll see if Jimmy can make similar growth. He'll never be able to make some of the plays Wilson is capable of but in our offense he doesn't have to. If he can improve his ability to break down the defense, spot where the gaps in the D are and identify any defenders which can make a play on the ball and ensure he can beat them with the throw that's what we'll need.

Won't need Jimmy to scramble around chucking it down the field. But yeah right now if we're able to flip QBs as much as 49er fans don't wanna admit it...right now it's a no brainer.

Thank you.

As far as the second line of yours goes (and beyond), I totally agree with this. As Russell has developed into an elite QB, the Seahawks have gotten worse. Russ is THE reason the Seahawks have still been a playoff team over the recent years as the rest of the team got worse. I am glad you, as a huge Jimmy homer, can see that one player is a very good QB and one is an elite QB.

Wilson's only been an MVP candidate last year, maybe the year prior.

On a "move the ball" basis, I thought Alex Smith in KC was better than Wilson. He would never be the true playmaker, but the offense moved.

Same with Jimmy, except Jimmy has bigger play potential and 3rd down ability than Smith.

Wilson is a one or two trick pony who is very f**king good at those tricks. It's frustrating how he's been able to make a career out of it, but no way could Wilson have been a successful NFL QB in the 1990s, let alone earlier than that. Just now way.

Wilson has been an MVP candidate for the last two years. And for you to use the word "only" shows your bias. When has Jimmy "only" been an MVP candidate once?

And you cannot be serious about the bolded. Cmon JT. That might be the silliest thing you have said yet.
It's hard to compare Wilson's rating or some of his other stats with Jimmy since Seattle has a worse OL than we do and they don't have a very imaginative offense. I think if you swapped them, Wilson's numbers go up and Jimmy's go down. Wilson hasn't been in a system where he doesn't need to pull a rabbit out of his hat to get wins. I'm pretty sure Jimmy would have a harder time doing that in Seattle since he isn't near the running threat and doesn't have that uncanny touch on the deep ball. Wilson is one of those guys you hate and find fault with unless he's on your team. He also hasn't missed a start in his career which is pretty amazing when you consider the amount of running he does and the number of sacks he takes.
