Both AZ games. First GB game, last Seattle game. Both La games. He had like 7-8 games with over 30 attempts.

When your running game is rolling and your defense is rolling you're not suppose to be out that slinging it.

Well, I've never complained about not running the ball enough. Overall, I'm happy with how Shanahan calls games.

As to Jimmy, you think Shanahan really trusted him last year? I don't think Shanahan was as aggressive as he wants to be in the passing game last year....I don't even think that's a controversial thing to say.

Jimmy was top five on a buttload passing stats. We had both starting tackles out throughout the yr. we lost our center. we had dropapalooza going on first half of the yr with our WRs.

No I don't think our HC didn't have faith in our QB.

It all started from that Boston beat writer who was basically spitballing hypotheticals.

Your talking about bringing in Brady being a joke. He doesn't think Brady to SF is a good idea. He was just trying to figure out why the 49ers would want to do it and then he mentioned the confidence thing that he had heard. It's not going to happen so it doesn't make much difference.

Either way, Shanahan is a brilliant offensive mind and I'll trust him with the QB decision. If it's Brady, so be it....if it's Jimmy, so be it. The Niners will be in a good situation either way.

It's not gonna be brady. It make absolutely zero sense and goes against their mentally of having a great locker room and not doing s**t that will affect the future of the team (in a bad way).

Brady's market is not great. He's gotta drum up something to put pressure on NE.

We lost some Oline but he was still protected quite well actually, and when he wasn't protected well, he had a very hard time beating the pressure on his own like players like Brees does. I believe Brees is the best qb in the nfl against the blitz, and he's not exactly considered mobile.

Jimmy g was also mid-tier on some stats as well.

QBR he was 12th.
Pass yards 12th
8th most interceptions in the league.

They wouldn't want to do it. Ian Rappaport couldn't find one SF source saying there was a bit of interest.

If you truly believe that, you really weren't paying attention.

Amongst a list of other reasons, the drive before halftime of the SB should be all you need to at the very least believe that there is a high probability that it could be possible.

You may be right....We'll see. I think this is a make-or-break year for Jimmy.

In 2018 Shanny said wait till next year (2019) to really see Jimmy break out. Well obviously Jimmy was injured and he didnt get the in game experience in 2018.

So it stands to reason that Shanny would expect that jump in 2019 just like his prior QBs have had after a couple years in his system.

I agree that Shanny probably didnt have 100% trust in Jimmy, but it's not because he feels Jimmy is limited as a qb, just inexperienced. I think people try to look for Kyle to signal somehow that he doesnt like Jimmy but I just dont think that's the case. He knows he has an inexperienced QB and asking to go out and win games on his own in his first full season is kinda dumb and could kill the confidence of your qb.

Yeah that was a joke. 1:30 left, 3 time outs, run, run, pass.

After the game he was quoted as saying he didn't want to give the ball back to mahomes and their offense.

Got it, so u have confidence their qb and offense can score on your elite defense, but your qb and offense can't vs an inferior defense.

Why is Maiocco saying he reached out to get a denial then? Seems like some people are wondering why the Niners aren't more forceful in their denial of this rumor.

I'm a Warriors fan and if there was a rumor about Curry being traded there would be TONS of denials to their media guys along the lines of "fake news", "dumb rumor", ect.

Pass yards 12th
8th most interceptions in the league.

His TT (Time to throw) was bottom of the league this yr. most of his throws when having guys like Skule and Bunskill blocking were quick short passes for a reason. Person was awful this yr and Garland can't pass-protect.

You bring up QBR, I'll bring up QB rating which he was 8th overall.

Yeah I'd expect his yards to not be top end he was 20th in attempts. Bringing up total yards is a horrible take. Winston lead the league in that.

Yes INTs were an issue and I expect that to go down with better pass pro and you know actually play more football. First yr as a starter (coming off an ACL) learning the offense and understanding coverages. Only way that improves is with more snaps.

Agreed with the inexperience being the reason Shanahan held back imo. And I agree that Jimmy has the physical tools to get better and make most of the throws. I'm looking forward to seeing the next step that Jimmy takes.

If you actually listen to kyle explain that drive you'd be wrong.

KC was punting from the 50 and have one of the best punters in the league at putting it inside the 5. KC also had 3 TOs.

What happens if they DO punt it inside the 5 (which almost happened)? You can't use a full playbook. You can't run a 2 min offense backup that far. Great you run the ball a couple times, KC calls all it's TOs and Mahomes gets one last chance to get pts up.

Oh and when they didn't get it inside the 5, Kyle let jimmy uncork a ball to Kittle for like what 40 yards? Would have been perfect if not for a stupid OPI.

Poor example.
