there were a few plays where he had time to throw, but everyone makes it seem like he had .00000000000000000000000000000001 sec to throw and when he did throw the ball, it got batted down but somehow thats the o-lines fault too. A play I like to point out is where chubb was nearing jimmy from the left side, but instead of actually sensing the pressure and just stepping up in the pocket that was created by the O-line he threw it where he was standing and should've been a pick 6. I'm hoping thats just rust from not playing for so long.

100 percent agree. I don't think he's all of the sudden forgotten how to navigate a pocket and won't ever remember again though. We've seen him do it before. Has to be rust.

I haven't seen it but Goodwin ran a terrible route on the first pick. Instead of working back to the ball, he ran something looked like a curl without the curly que. Also, why were there two receivers within 5 yards of each other? That should not have happened either. It wasn't like they hadn't practiced that stuff. It is basic. Everything broke down on the play.

There were two issues here. One, we don't have starters at C nor OGs. Worse, Denver's #1 Ds, were way, way better than what we had on the OL.

Bringing us to the 2nd issue. Why would kyle call late developing plays with 5 or 7 step drops when he surely knew the DL would be on jimmy like a fly on pig schid. Yet he didn't account for that or he would have called nothing but bang bang pass plays because he knew the DEN 1s were coming. Notice how when 2nd half rolled around and our #2s beat up on their #2s. And same for #3s also. But DEN #1 Ds were far, far superior for kyle to have called anything but quick hitters. And that really surprised me. I don' thtink It even went thru his mind. Lord knows he is smarter than that...but an oversight nonetheless, that resulted in JG having a horrible experience right off the bat and it certainly did nada for his confidence. Just surprising is all. I bet he would do it differently next time.

Felger and Mazz are idiots of the rare variety. Them trashing Jimmy probably means we can start working on his HOF bust now.

Boston radio and media loves to chit on former Boston athletes who left. It's a tradition that won't go away.
we knew all this was coming, bring it on.

i'd rather go into the season with low expectations from the nat'l media than be playoff favorites

Maybe he really wanted to try to clear up the WR situation ? Seems irresponsible if that's the case, but who knows.

Agreed. Ups and downs. I'd rather some of the downs be in the preseason.

Rust is part of it...he's also playing with a brace. I wouldn't be surprised if the thought of another season ending injury is floating in his head right now. He needs to get as many snaps as possible with the remaining practice time and preseason games.

Ooooooooooh.

Just months ago they wanted to keep Jimmy and move on from Brady. This region is full of two faced clowns.
