Wasn't his decision.

Exciting to see how he plays next week and the boards reactions

Then why the f**k did we draft a 4th round punter

Though he had a couple of misses last night, he also showed why they picked him. That last punt down to the 5 with time running out would have sealed the game but for a horrible PI call.

Yeah don't ask me, I wanted a corner or a safety there.

Ditto. But the guy I wanted CGJ hasn't been looking to hot in New Orleans and Moore seems to have taken a big step at his natural position. So that's why I'm just a guy on a fan forum

I wonder if any others will admit this. I was a CGJ guy too. I felt we could've traded back in the 3rd or 4th (actually both) and still got a G, a safety, Hurd, and Mitch. Either way, based on the early reports, I like who we got.

I liked him, thought he was solid in coverage. I never talk to the players and I think that would change my evaluations significantly

Nice article explaining how jimmy G spent over 3 months with mike shanahan learning the offense last yr. he needs the live reps, but mentally he's got the playbook down which is huge imo
Really nice article on the front page. This was a good tidbit.

He says he's at the point now where if Kyle Shanahan's headset goes down, and only part of the call comes through to his ear, he can finish it, based just on knowledge of how the offense works.

It's fair to say, too, that it might not be like that if not for the injury.

"Getting the overall understanding of that from a guy who's been in it forever—you can't ask for anything else," Garoppolo said. "I keep telling myself it's a blessing in disguise, this whole process with the knee and just coming back from it. We have to go out there and prove it now. We can all talk about it, it sounds good, but you have to go out on the field and prove it."

he's [Jimmy Garoppolo] expecting a tangible benefit from all that time he spent studying last fall. He says he's at the point now where if Kyle Shanahan's headset goes down, and only part of the call comes through to his ear, he can finish it, based just on knowledge of how the offense works.

It's the 3rd article after the antonio brown and kliff kingsbury article.

Sure would be nice if we could get this stuff from our local writers. #Slackers

That's a brilliant article.

Albert Breer is legit.
I freakin knew that kyle wasnt putting a lot on jimmys plate in '17. Those early season struggles last year were definitely because of just grasping the offense

Actually, I think our own WEbzone members outclass a lot of the so called Journalists out there. This guy named NCommand is one of the top guys posts I always look at. His articles are pretty legit, and I daresay, he's loads better than Grant Cohn. Word of warning about NCommand though - he's a total doofus on eveything else *but* football.

First game action in nearly a year against Fangio's defense. Good luck JG.
