Jimmy is going to be good. And with Mullens hot on his tail, that is even better.

Disagree jimmy g has no excuses. If he struggles it may be because he's not smart enough to actually grasp the system. He's been a pro for way too long to use not understanding the playbook 2 full offseason and 2.5 seasons in.
He better tear it up and not play scared like he did earlier this year or it appears mullens will be coming for his job.
Let not pretend like he's untouchable. He's yet to play a full season and prove himself even durable enough to be a franchise qb. He also wasn't a high draft pick for a reason.
i agree, jimmy g has a lot to prove, especially for the money he being paid.

With Mullens backing up, Jimmy can tried something hero stupid, gets injured, and people will say, yeah that's Jimmy.

Is he not allowed to struggle?
doesn't really matter what I allow or not allow. I'm just saying thats what it is. He barely has any experience in this system compared to Mullens or Beathard.

We are in the playoff hunt right now with a healthy Jimmy G and McKinnon. No question about it.
Chargers by 2, Packers by 3, Cardinals by 3, Cardinals by 10 but like a gazillion turnovers, Giants by 4. Beathard was our QB for four of these.
We win three out of these five and we're half a game behind the Vikings for the last spot. Win four and we're in a spot right now.
I don't know how even the doom squad can deny this.

I mean, sure, yeah. That'd be great but let's not ignore those giant red flags. He played scared and made some horrific decisions at end of each game he's started this season. That makes me nervous as hell.

Because bad teams find ways to lose close games. And we have yet to have definitive proof that this isnt a bad team. All we have is the hopes and assumptions of what could have been.

yea idk man. I don't like getting into hypotheticals. For all we know, the defense could have choked all these games anyway. Game script would change if we had a significant lead over the opponent.

And we're a better team with Jimmy G as opposed to Beathard...

well....
I can read the injury report....and i can correlate how NFL teams look when they have key injuries at places like starting RB/WR/QB......
I can also see were most teams end up with their 3rd string WRs, 3rd strong RBs and 3rd string QBS end up.....

Isn't that all just rookie errors? One thing about Mullens is he has shown us he can learn. From 3rd string to being thrown right in the deep end he has been impressive.
