All modern organizations these days encourage management and employees to hang out to get to know each other better. My company has scavenger hunts, parties and field day events where everyone comes together gets drunk and have a good time. It builds team cohesion. You see the people you work and with as people just like you. This is big with tech companies such as mine.
Obviously, the Silicon Valley culture has permeated the 49ers organization and that's not necessarily a bad thing. My company has fun, but when we're at work, it's business.
It's the offseason, once camp starts, it's all business. Kyle is a football nerd so he probably masturbates to old Walsh WCO film in his man cave. I'd be more worried if he seemed to be all football all the time. Unbalanced people are very difficult to work with.
