This might be my favorite because he looks the defender off first and hits it in such a small window for a TD against such a great D.

As someone who frequents Mobile Alabama .... I'm going to need you to accept the fact that ALL Dreamland ribs are amazing....

I was so pleasantly surprised with Jimmy. His work in the mental side of the position and ability to identify things quickly and accurately was such a breath of fresh air.

While some of our previous QB's could make great throws it was the ability to work through those progressions quickly that was a major stumbling block. To the point where people would say, "given enough time, they are great".

Jimmy's work through his progressions and identifying the correct things happens so fast it's incredible.
I put links into the OP of the Film Thread for ease of navigation. Yeah that play where he read the trap coverage and moved on was very nice.

I put more stock into a QB's playing experience than years in the league. For a guy that had a total of 2 games starting experience coming in, he had the mental processing of a 7 year vet. How much more can the game actually slow down for him?
I'm trying to find a throw he made in the face of pressure on a Deep Out to Goodwin but can't remember which game it was in. That was my favorite throw.

If its the one where he got hit with some chin music it was vs Texans.

Jimmy bringing back the shoulder pump fake.

Looks more like he was changing his angle.

I always remember the Jeff Garcia two hand pump fake, because he didn't want to risk the ball slipping out. That and his "I cant see over the OL" jump throws. lol

I think only JG and Rodgers makes that throw. The quickness of the throw makes that play happen.

All dreamlamd ribs are quite excellent. But, if you've ever been to the original where all they have on the menu is ribs and smoked sausage, it's just....different.

It's crazy because it's still just a shack back up behind some industrial area of Tuscalooosa. It doesn't even feel like you're in the city anymore and it's dark and run down with everything looking 50 years old and a door that barely works, but dem ribs....mmmmmmm

Now I want ribs....

Literally the whole restaurant, lol

That's the one. 7 step with a hitch to a Post-Out route. +15 yard roughing the passer penalty.
We went from, "oh no there's pressure, better take sack" to "oh no there's pressure, better try to evade, then take a sack" to "oh no there's pressure, better get rid of the ball". Yes!

Looks like the RB missed the block on that one, or faked too far into the hole and the LB just went by him to nail Jimmy GQ. It also looks like a Play pass but the RB went the wrong way or that Jimmy already knew it was a blitz - didn't bother with the play action - and was looking to Goodwin already from the git go. But the RB in this case was a factor in Jimmy getting hit in my opinion.
