If he doesn't sign I say we trade him for Deshon Kaiser, straight up.

So what do we need to give Jimmy G to get him to sign? 5 years 125 million with 65 guaranteed? Does that get it done?

Not sure he's down to commit long term. This could just be a stepping stone.

Based on what? Why do you believe he would he not be willing to commit long term?

His answers when asked directly about it were ambiguous at best.

True, I just really hope that isn't the case. I don't know where else he would prefer to go.

Of course they were, he's about to go into a huge negotiation and didn't want to tip his hand, (Lynch is a legend but shot his wad there)
The earliest the deal will get done is the combine, but it wouldn't surprise me if they're waiting for Cousins to set the market.
I think Jimmy stays here as long as Kyle does, and I'm hoping that's around a decade.

Same here. There are plenty of attractive destinations for a free agent QB this off-season. They are always in demand.

I just feel we have the coach, the GM, a new stadium, good weather, plenty of cap room, young talent, and about to improve more this offseason. I really hope he will stay a long long time.

Could be a negotiating tactic assuming he really wants to stay here. Nothing indicates he does or does not.
I really think he's open to leaving if we don't give him what he wants.

We are probably front runners. We get first crack at him plus like you said, nice offensive minded coach and cap space. Hopefully lynch gets it done.
