There are going to be a lot of cuts for teams to get down to 53 by tomorrow's deadline (Sat., Sept. 2 at 1 pm PST). There will be some decent talent getting cut...the Niners have the #2 waiver claim.

This just confirms that they will do everything in their power to keep Garropolo. I am not sure if Brissett would be good in shannahans system, but he would have been a nice add to the 9ers roster.
