Love the dudes talent, hate his on the field antics. 5 games is steep but he's already on a short leash.

I actually think its BS. I am not incredibly versed on the rulebook, specifically new rules, but can anyone tell me what he did wrong?

Its a penalty with the contact around the head area. Maybe a game or two based off his reputation (i'd prefer no suspension) but 5 is f**kin crazy to me. And yes i'm aware of his previous suspension

I know he's got a rep and has been in trouble before, but within the context of head/neck area, that hit looked clean to me, hit him with his shoulder....for whatever it's worth, even the dude he hit said it was clean. Oh well, I freely admit I no longer understand all the NFL's rules and rationale/interpretation of them.

I think it's a new rule put in place this year to protect defenseless players...i could be wrong

Well deserved suspension...guy's been a cheapshot artist for years, it's about time the NFL punished him.

Long as they are going to apply such ruling consistently. As in the Seahawks and their BS should result in some suspensions.

I have no problem with a 5 game suspension. He took him out with the helmet. About time the NFL sent a message round to the Seahawks etc that this sort of play won't be tolerated.
