There will never be a helmet that can protect any brain from concussions and CTE as long as tackling occurs. It's not just about concussions. The head was not meant to be impacted and brain jostled as regularly and frequently as occurs when playing football from youth to pros. The sport needs to change significantly and evolve into a safer game. This means tackling needs to be redefined and we can still keep helmets. Instead of tackling, it should be wrapping up and pulling the player down, not pushing, not slamming, not tripping, not spearing, not crashing, not leading with the helmet, not anything else. Everyone should be running and should be running into arms or body to body at the point of inpact. It's not that complicated.

then it won't be football, high speed impacts are a part of playing the game at full speed. 1 yard line, game on the line, give it to your back...... defense should try to wrap up and pull him down to the ground

no, they are going to go balls out trying to lay the hammer down on that b***h

That would draw a flag with the new rules. Expect to see "targeting" adopted in the pros. The league will continue to make rules to make the game safer. There is just too much money involved to allow it to be banned.
I believe there will be an answer to football-induced concussions across the board in the future. There's simply too much money in football to let the sport go under.

I was listening to a Joe Rogan podcast a few years ago, and he had a doctor on discussing how they're in the early stages of reversing the effects of brain trauma through hormone treatment. Concussions will never be entirely preventable in football, but in time, they'll possibly be able to remedy the effects of brain trauma long before it becomes debilitating.

should ban head hits in boxing and mma
Static flat feet can be corrected until the active growth of the foot has stopped, i.e. up to about 16 years for boys and up to 14 years for girls. For this, corrective orthopedic insoles are made that make directional pressure on the skeleton of a growing foot. Orthopedic insoles click here must be put into shoes that have a hardback and are fixed on the rise of the foot (lacing, fasteners, etc.). The use of orthopedic insoles must be combined with daily physical therapy exercises.

It looks like a welcome improvement. But as the doctor says you will not eliminate concussions. The brain sits in a fluid that normally keeps it off the skull wall a forceful sudden deacceleration will cause the brain to bounce backward and forward in the skull cavity bouncing off the skull. That is what cause the damage. The harder the hit the greater the damage with the worst case being death, the next a permanent vegetative state.

If you think of two guys running at each other at 20 miles per hour and colliding the impact will be devastating like running into a wall at 40 miles per hour and even this new helmet will not stop damage, maybe just limit it a little bit. It will have improvements at less forceful impacts so essentially it will allow a greater force of impact before damage occurs.

Unless they install electronic g meters in all helmets and study the g force of injury occurring impacts we will never know what the minimum force an individual can receive before injury. Any protective device that raises the level of force required before injury will be beneficial. But concussion will never be eliminated. Only reduced.
