Not sure if there have been any QB no. 4s recently, but if the made up prophecy I just conjured up in my head holds true, Mullens is next in line for the throne of great niner QB.

Doubt it. Kyle likes what he sees from C.J. in practice. He knows C.J. is a better qb. He does seem to have faith in Mullens though. Who knows.

As much as Beathard is struggling, Mullens certainly hasn't done anything yet to give someone a reason to be confident in him playing against NFL defenses.
