No.
+1, more valuable as an experienced commanding backup to Jimmy than a 3rd rdr
I wouldn't even rule him out as our future full time starter if Jimmy can't stay healthy.
So many are quick to peg him as just a back up, but no one knows what his future really holds and how much he might improve in 2019 and beyond. Just look at other undrafted QB's like Romo and Garcia, hell even throw Brady in there as a late round pick; Nick either preformed better or close to the same level as them in his season starting. Not saying he's them, but no one knew they would have the careers they did either.
Kid just seems like a gamer and I'm not trading him for anything other than a first rounder because Jimmy has a legit injury history and being left with CJ starting leaves you feeling uneasy... and I haven't written him off either.

This. If we beef up the team in the draft and free agency and Jimmy got hurt again, I am confident that we could at least make a playoff push with Nick Mullens. I don't have the same confidence in CJ Beathard. Mullens doesn't get traded for me unless someone is offering a first and no one is offering a first for Nick Mullens :-).
There are teams that wish they had a quarterback and we may possibly have two. Let's enjoy it.

The Steelers, probably.

Just spoke with my friend and said, "Damn, if Jimmy G comes back its on." He replies, "wait,? Y'all gave up on Mullens like that? One and done? and Y'all call yourselves the faithful? The Home of the Faithful?Faithful my ass! haha" ... But damn, it makes me think they should have never gave mega deal money to Jimmy G. I can't say oh he's a badass. I haven't seen $***. Just my opinion, I would have rather liked the scenario of pressure and drama. They should have franchised tagged him. Niners could have more money to fit some holes and be smarter and tactical.
