I agree, that if we can't get really good value out of trading Mullens, then we should look to trade CJ for a late round pick, and then try to get the next Mullens in this years UDFA market, and start the development process with Jimmy G and Mullens as our 1-2.

This! What a fresh breath of air Mullen's was this season. He deserves the #2 spot but there will be a competition but we already know who is getting it

I wouldn't even rule him out as our future full time starter if Jimmy can't stay healthy.
So many are quick to peg him as just a back up, but no one knows what his future really holds and how much he might improve in 2019 and beyond. Just look at other undrafted QB's like Romo and Garcia, hell even throw Brady in there as a late round pick; Nick either preformed better or close to the same level as them in his season starting. Not saying he's them, but no one knew they would have the careers they did either.
Kid just seems like a gamer and I'm not trading him for anything other than a first rounder because Jimmy has a legit injury history and being left with CJ starting leaves you feeling uneasy... and I haven't written him off either.
