I hope this is true, and the Cowboys don't get him. Our secondary would be much much much better. If we have a pass rusher then I would say we are set on d

Hopefully Sherman does or can play a big factor into recruiting Earl Thomas, but all in all Dallas will have more than enough cap space to sign him. But nothing is set in stone by any means, shoot Cousins was guaranteed to be a 9er in 2018 how'd that play out!!

Yeah but you're implying we should get rid of him. He's had one good year and one not so good as a starter. No reason to get rid of a player on a rookie contract who can possibly help the team even if he's not a starter.

He may stick around but if he starts we are in trouble.

He is PFF's lowest graded safety in coverage out of 89 qualifiers. He has been horrid this year.

Earl Thomas

I'm down

Hoping for Thomas too. Very unlikely though as his heart will probably be in Dallas.

Probably so. Clinton-Dix from Green Bay should be a target for us if he reaches free agency.
We need to have players on the field with common sense.

Not dum dums guarding grass because the scheme says so.

Ward is a bucket head, Colbert runs into the bleachers. What is going on? No one turns to find the ball.

Really bad.
Bring in Karl Joseph...give Oakland a 6th rd pick and call it a day.

Can't disagree there.

Young player being "coached up" terribly by a guy who's in way over his head. I'd like to see Colbert given a shot with a DC and staff who know what they're doing.

I don't see any chance Thomas comes here. He wants to go to Dallas and they want him. Seems all but guaranteed in 2019 that's where he'll be.

Why? He has been a fantastic pick for a 7th rounder, hes on a rookie contract and he can play special teams. Nothing not to like here imo.

He's been so underwhelming this year and I can't help but think the management has given up on him. Yes he's a 7th and can play ST, but we can get new ST fillers any year. We never hear this guys name called and the angles he's taken on deep balls have been horrendous

This. The entire defense completely fell off a cliff from the last 8 games last year. Colbert has also been injured every game. In this Rams game, it looked like he was just starting to get healthy again.

I think the DC, scheme and players need to be fully evaluated this off season.

It's way too early to write any young player off right now. That doesn't mean you shouldn't entertain an upgrade either.
Sucks for him. I hope he comes back better

Ya but again he was a 7th round pick and might have the worst pass rush in the league to help him out. He has been one of the best picks we have made as far as I am concerned.

No thanks. He's really bad in coverage.

This is probably for the best for him. He was humbled this year. We'll see how that impacts him in the offseason.

This. I like Marcell Harris over Joseph anyway. Keep the draft picks.
Anybody have that PFF super premium subscription where you can his grades by game? I feel like he played SO much better the last two games. Him and Akhello as well.

Had 5 INTs his senior yr imo Reed shouldn't be playing FS.

Heck, I'd rather get Moore out there as a single-high FS dude has the length and range
