Did Verrett really laugh it off??? Ahkello not being out the year is great news. Anytime you get the cart treatment I think season over. As far as Verrett goes I think he just needs to play. He hasn't played in what 2 years??? Didn't play much in the preseason either because of the ankle. Just let him play. Problem is they need to have someone ready to go behind him because he suffers from JW disease.

Luckily they have two weeks to get him coached up. I like Verrett. Him laughing it off though if true is concerning. I hope that didn't happen after being toasted like a burnt bagel. Idk what to make of Kyle's comments on going outside for help. Maybe the team doesn't like Verrett but I think he would have been cut otherwise. Maybe insurance.

Yeah the rams haven't looked great. I thought we might be able to go to LA and steal one but injuries have our o-line looking even more shaky against that d-line, and our secondary now has a bigger weak spot against all their weapons. Gonna be a battle.

He came in as the backup CB and single handedly gave up a TD. Mosely came in and was fine. That's pretty clear.

JV was a flyer and a gamble. Theres no guarantee he's any good still. Some guys dont come back from multiple injuries.

Nah. Means they need to duke it out in practice/film room over the next couple weeks. Nobody is getting handed anything.

I saw a tweet from Maiocco that said there was gonna be a competition the next couple of weeks to see who starts but Mosely would start off in the lead.

I wanna see Verrett shine. Im also starting not to trust Shanny with injury prognosis. Seems like hes usually off. At least a month to me could mean 2 months. Glad its not a season ender though. I dont want to think about Beckham vs Moseley lol.

Disappointing but not fatal to the secondary's success. Witherspoon has been balling out and he will be back later this year. Not worried that a combo of Moseley and Verrett will hold down the fort till Spoon returns. If they start to falter, there is always the trade deadline still out there to pickup some additional reinforcements.

I like Afrikan's idea. Ward to play CB again. That's not a terrible idea. I think that's the only short term fix. I just can't see us trading what little draft stock we have next year for Ramsey ALTHOUGH I do think it's the right move given Sherm is not getting any younger.

Yeah, makes sense. Verrett was next man up yesterday but Mosely replaced him. Verrett is not the same player he once was.
