I'm going off from what i seen in this county.

it's usually Community service, some fines and DV classes and maybe something else that wasn't told. but no jail (that were given to people that i met in the past)

I agree that it looks that way based on what we know. However, there is still the outside possibility that the DA has some secret smoking gun.

8 games. If Zeke got 6 without even being charged and no guns or weed then i think Foster is looking at 8 games.

Yeah, I don't think everybody needs to be worried about it. I just personally won't be able to assume anything until it's 100%.

I think they start at 6, 4 for the weed and 2 for conduct detrimental for being in the news... which then gets appealed down to 4 games total.

If there is no conviction the NFL only has grounds to suspend him for bad PR. If they tie a suspension to the incident and not the coverage of the incident, the NFL would get destroyed by the players union in any appeal or arbitration.

Whatever happens, he shouldn't appeal the way Elliot did. Serve the time right away so that he can get back into football full time.

Disagree. He definitely should appeal if it's anything over 4 games. Assuming all the charges are dropped from the DV arrest and it looks like his gf basically tried to throw him under the bus when he did nothing wrong then if the NFL suspends him off that arrest they're basically promoting chit like this happening to their players.

NFLPA will not take lightly to that. If they suspend him it will be due to the weed arrest. Hell they shouldn't even take the gun charges into consideration because they stemmed from the DV stuff.

Appeal the amount of games not the suspension itself the way Elliot did, where he was on and off suspension. Foster needs to be completely available for football at some point this year.

The chic in the Zeke case was found to have texts saying she was lying. I'm really not sure how much the titty reveal had to do with it. That was bad for Zeke. And I think being on the Cowboys hurt him as well. But this chic in the Foster case has no credibility. She's telling 2 different stories. You can easily argue she's only saying that after being paid off. Now that's where the video comes into play. If that backs her 2nd story then I would agree with you. But what if the tape doesn't? The person over Zeke's case recommended him not be suspend and Roger did anyway. I think Roger will suspend Foster regardless just b/c of the bad optics unless that tape totally clears him. In that case I'd say 2 for the guns and 1 game for the weed. I don't think the NFL care's about his career. They care about public relations and the bigger picture.

Nah Zeke's case it totally different - the woman didn't cooperate with the legal system but ultimately she did cooperate with the NFL where clearly she convinced them he did hit her. That's where the disconnect came from.

Ruebens case there's currently 0 evidence or compelling reason to think he "probably" did it - there's actually video evidence and the retracted statement that prove otherwise. The weed/guns will probably get the full extent of punishment but you gotta throw DV totally out on this one. I think a 4 game max sentence which would allign with them treating this as multiple offenses.

Sheldon Richardson was busted for much larger volumes of weed and illegal firearms in a traffic stop and got 1 game AND he doesn't work in a state where it's legal.

I always wrote that it would be settled out-of-court. An amicable settlement between the two is naturally preferable to a legal case. The wildcard here is the 'Bama case, which I think but don't know will amount to nothing - conviction, fine, probation within the state of AL. I don't care about weed anyway.

Suspension? There are two criminal cases forthcoming with Reuben Foster as the defendant in two different states, 3 felonies and 1 misdemeanor. But Goodell sees the $ from a renewed LA Rams-Niners rivalry. He's not messing with anybody's cornflakes if he can help it. But again, there's been the big push for female TV viewers in the last couple decades and DV criminal charges don't fly well.

In a week we'll have soooo much more resolution. Suspension? Goodell? Another pot charge that will stick? Could be a game. Could be a year.

Maybe if the team allows him to show up again someday that will be a good sign. He'll need practice but he's better than everybody else in the back 7 anyway so that wouldn't take long.

Yeah ATT, i just hope he isn't looking for scalps. Two things are battling for his attention. First is that nice big fat scalp , esp for DV, and even moreso if the guy is a pro football player. The other thing going thru his mind is all the horrible press he gets pre election , if he gets it wrong and loses the case and worse looks like a fool for even trying it. Once he figures that out, we'll know immediately.
