That's just low class..

I feel bad for the ex-Niner... he wasn't a bad guy, he just kept making the wrong decision..

It's not even his fault he's with the Redskins.. ..

I hope he recovers asap, and be a good player in this league..

I have no feelings either way. I can't remember any standout plays, he seemed to be on IR most of the time here.

Was he a bad guy? He didn't beat his girlfriend afaik. I'm pretty sure she recanted her accusations. He just has really poor judgement and is injury prone af. Which were both crystal clear before we even drafted him, so I can't be mad at him. He didn't draft himself in the first round. That was our dumb FO. Hopefully it's a lesson they've learned from. There's no point in being mad at Foster for our team's poor decisions and it's low class to take joy in a player's injury.

Not surprised. There was very little chance he would ever live up to his potential with his injury history and off the field problems

SIR! WE DO NOT LAUGH AT INJURIES HERE.

Yeah, injuries don't contribute to the sport in my opinion. I think a win should legitimately be against the best another team can field. I'd love to compete against the best that the opposing team can bring, otherwise you aren't really playing the best and you really don't know how good your own team is.

Having said that, Reuben - out of football for a year - is going to test him to see if he can stay on the straight and narrow. I'm betting PasoDoc's lunch money that Reuben's going to get in trouble again very soon.
I just wanted to see the look on Dan Snyder's face when he heard the news!! Priceless..
Possible artery damage too. Could be career ending.
KARMA STRIKES!

not that I wish injury upon any one, i'm not gonna lie when I was reading he tore his acl I was like this:

I stopped caring for this guy when I watched the badge cam when the police were called to his house. He showed how much of a punk he is. He was on his last straw with the 49ers at the time, and showed no remorse when the cops were at his house trying to figure out why they were summoned. b***h was way crazy, I knew he wouldn't last much longer on the 49ers.

Did you think that during his rookie season?

If you say yes then you're a liar.

The talent was obvious. His shoulder ended up being ok, yes he had nagging injuries here and there but he played a lot more than people expected and people were throwing him out there as one of the best linebackers in the game heading into year two before he got into his off the field issues.

At some point you take a risk on players with that great of tape if you think the medicals check out. We took the risk and early on it looked like it was definitely paying off.

Even knowing what we know it was a good gamble considering where they had him on their draft board. What concerned me more was the fact that we would've taken him at #3 overall if Chicago took Thomas. THAT would've been tragic and stupid. Now Thomas may end up being a bust on his own so we could be 0/2 when it's all said and done but Thomas at 3 makes a hell of a lot more sense than Foster at 3 with all his issues.

You really shouldn't say this dude. Makes it sound like you were hoping he would break the law or mess up a woman. You shouldn't be "hoping" for that in any scenario.

It's okay to root against him as a player, but to hope something bad to him happens outside of the world of football (and this includes injury) is not appropriate.

I was being honest. I didn't want to see Washington get him for cheap and reap the rewards that should've been ours.

And I didn't say I was rooting for off the field issues...just assumed it would happen considering the guy was too stupid not to learn from what happened here there is a big difference.

Now if you want to claim that you were cool with him turning into a pro bowl/all pro player for the Redskins after we had to cut him for being a dumbass I'll find that hard to believe.
