Thank you for this. Is this why we're seeing some coordinators hired with the assistant HC title attached?

Alot of times the assistant head coach is just a feel good title and a little raise to try and keep your assistants happy. Sometimes when two assistants are up for the coordinator position, the one that doesn't get it will be named assistant head coach and given a small raise to smooth everything over. Heck Miami has three assistant head coaches.

He actually looked good yesterday

He did...and they cut down his snaps again. It's super frustrating. Just when it looked like we were starting to use him more and inside to let him grow there we throw that out the window again. He definitely did a nice job on the stunt which lead to the safety. Got push and tied up a double team as Marsh went around him for the pressure/intentional grounding.
give him more snaps inside please

Amazing what happens when you actually put people in their element.

Just me? Or does it look like he was supposed to wrap outside on the stunt like what Buckner did on the other side.
Wow. The bar is set very low. A highlight of an incomplete pass on a play he didnt even touch the qb and fell over his own feet
2 observations:
-Saleh went back to his standard snickel package with Mitchell and Buckner inside.
-The team was either showcasing AA or still has faith in him because he was taking Solly's inside snaps on obvious passing downs.

Ex: Bosa, Buckner, Thomas.

Shouldn't 3rd overall picks make the players around them better?

Yeah these guys keep posting a bunch of "almost plays" and hyping him up. Thank goodness we passed on Mahomes and picked this guy instead. No doubt that was a brilliant move by this organization.

He did - not great but good.

Mahomes is in a perfect situation. You think he looks nearly that good here? He would be rushed out there last season with no Tyreek Hill, Kelce, Hunt, Watkins, etc...

Those almost plays may not be Aaron Donald worthy but he's also not doing nothing like some people want to pretend. If the team plays him consistently inside where he's more comfortable it's not crazy to expect that those almost plays start turning into plays and those turn into consistent plays and impact plays.

There is nothing more frustrating than our coaching staff refusing to acknowledge the obvious.
