Or his tiny arms.

LOL

The people saying he sucked are looking at box scores.

Thomas when played inside was playing well. The problem is he's still not dominating how people expect from a top 3 pick and he's not making himself known on the box scores so people are saying he sucks.

I'll need to rewatch the snaps once the all22 comes out but when I saw him inside it looked like we were getting good pressure on the Cards and he was making an impact.

Uhhhh ya! I'd hope the 3rd overall pick is making an impact in the f'n box score. Did you just seriously post that??

I can't believe you are still defending this guy.

Once again why wouldn't I? Did he hurt you personally?

So what's your issue with him?

He's on the 49ers so I want him to play well. He's talented and I want to see him in the best situation for him and for the team. Until that happens calling for him to be traded or cut is stupid.

It's pretty simple...you ask a guy to play one position and concentrate all his work on rushing/playing inside versus asking him to concentrate on inside and outside play. Who will have an easier go of it?

And Justin Smith had days where not much showed up on the box score. Was Smith a bad player?

And before you jump to that...I'm in no way saying Thomas is Justin Smith. Just pointing out that box scores don't always show everything.

Thomas needs to play better nobody is arguing otherwise. But once again why the hatred for him?

You're talking up Lattimore. The guy has been roasted pretty much all year long. Think he's gonna be a shut down corner in this defense?

Arms are longer than AA's...now his hands...that's another issue all together.

Marshon Lattimore is such a beast. One of the best man coverage corners in the league.

It just sucks seeing him make plays when we have recievers running wide open down the field consistently and Solomon is doing nothing no matter if he is inside or outside.

What a disappointment.

Diggs and Thielin each had over 100 yards and a td? Kirk had 359 yards 2 TDs 1 INT (Williams) and completes 76% of his passes?

Latt is good but I mean the passing game was more than fine vs the Saints last night

I've found people care more about being right like they're gonna become a GM or some s**t lol vs rooting for a player that plays on their team. There's correlations of college players who were successful at one position in college being successful at the same position at the next level. It's not made up s**t or excuses. Kid is a interior DL not a edge rusher and should be used how he was in college. Buck was a 3-4 DT and excelled in college. He should be used as such. Ward was a jim Thorpe finalist in college at safety and should be used as such. AA was a run stuffing DT in college and should be used as such. Etc etc

We all expect more from Thomas, I thought he did his job well last night when playing inside. Then Saleh moved him smh. Latt was the only other guy that made sense based on importance of position. He was injuried a ton all through the draft process and in college I believe. He has NOT played up to the level as last yr.

That's part of it yes. Especially when a certain two posters spend hours and post hundreds of posts defending the pick or criticizing others who have other opinions.

So you'd rather be able to say I was wrong versus the 49ers having a great player who can help them win games? How much should I pay for rent since I'm living in your head so much?

And it must be nice to never have to eat crow when you just make 200 mock drafts with "Player X is who we HAVE to draft"

I'll support any 49ers player drafted or signed even if I don't like them during the draft or FA process. I've been wrong many times and been thrilled about it. I didn't understand the Justin Smith signing. Thought it was awful move for a 3-4 team. Thrilled to be wrong there.

I thought Goodwin was a camp fodder signing. Thrilled he's turning into a very good WR for us.

I care about the 49ers and then having the best players possible to win SBs. I don't care if I'm right on an online forum where nobody knows me and even if we knew each other in real life I'd always put the success of the team over my opinions.

But whatever floats your boat dude.

Bro. He can tell you you're wrong AND the Niners can have a player that wins games. Literally zero posters on here have the power to make a player better or worse. None.

Good post.

IMO, he plays like a good, solid 2nd rounder.

Agree, playing all these guys out of position is not doing them or us any favors.
Not sure how Steve rooting for AA, Blair, Day over Solly makes him a bad 49er fan? If he thinks they're better it's no different than you rooting for Solly. Are you a bad Niner fan for rooting for Solly over them or for calling Saleh an idiot because he's not playing your boy the way you want him to. Are you trying to be the dc now?

Not criticizing any Solly fan though just the point is it's part of being a fan. Alex or Shaun Hill. These debates are going to happen and sometimes you got to pick a side.
