Apologize if already mentioned, but his suicide has really caused some chaos. Because of the Massachusetts loophole where if a person dies while appealing conviction the case is dropped and the conviction is off the books, the Patriots may have to pay the rest of his signing bonus which was around 3.25 million plus 2.5 mil in guaranteed money. Now, the Lloyd family is suing the Hernandez estate for wrongful death. The estate at the moment has minimal money although the Hernandez house is on the market for 1.3 million. But if Pats do have to pay (which they will fight) the Lloyd family would undoubtedly benefit, which just makes the whole thing weird.

Additionally, Hernandez did play in the NFL the minimum of three years therefore he is eligible for an NFL pension. Since he is deceased the pension would go to his wife except he wasn't married, his baby mama was his fiance. So the pension goes to his daughter. Should be approximately $9000 a month till she is 18, then $4000 a month till the age of 23 if she goes to college. If the wife received this pension it would be eligible money in the Lloyd family lawsuit, but since it goes to the daughter it is supposedly not.

Now, the Hernandez family is saying they are suing because the prison guard skipped the 2am cell check. The guard has now been put on paid leave. The judge better throw that case out. They are really going to sue the prison for not making sure their murdering psychopath family member didn't kill himself, but fight against the Lloyd family suing them for their family member murdering Odin Lloyd?....unbelievable the friggen nerve..

I wouldn't be mad if the daughter got $8 mill .

They killed that man. He just beat a double murder case. He was going for the hat trick and appealing the first conviction. The guy was a murderer who killed an innocent man. He deserved to die, he is a piece of crap and the world is a better, safer place with him gone. It isn't like the Pope just died, but I guess you missed that point.
