I think Saleh plucks someone from LA or Seattle to run the offense, if not Daboll.

Not trash. He's a very good DC. I personally am not a fan of his scheme. I like a little more aggression on that side of the ball like Todd Bowles or Brian Flores. Jim Schwartz isn't that aggressive he also relies on his front four pressuring the QB but at least he'll have some wrinkles in his scheme.

Daboll did a great job in helping Allen develop. Also doubtful that he gets snatched up to be a HC again anytime soon.

I agree 100%. Saleh is a good DC but I also like a more aggressive style. It opens you up for more big plays but it also creates more turnovers and sacks. That Bears defense in 1985 was exciting to watch. It was risky but when it worked it devasted offenses. The key for me is keep the offense guessing. Change and disguise the look. If you give an offense the same look the entire game they eventually find a way to attack it.
