We need to a add a DT that can rush the QB some

What has Jim Harbaugh done lately? Or Kevin Stefanski? This take makes no sense.

Now if it isn't Baltimore or Pittsburgh offering the job, if he is wise, he will pass. There are Arizona, Tennessee, and Las Vegas type of jobs available very year.

Harbaugh has won a SB as a HC....his career win percentage is.614 vs Saleh who's never led a team above.500. Stsfanski actually took the browns to the playoffs twice which is enormous when you consider they have the worst FO in football.

I won't be surprised if he has a new gig by Tuesday. My money is on Baltimore.

Baltimore is not gonna roll the dice on a previously failed coach after firing Harbaugh

It will be Shula

Baltimore FO knows the problem with the Jets. They won't hold that against him. After all, the Jets were a pretty strong defensive team until injuries took out key players (sounds familiar). Saleh's problem was he had not QB to work with. He won't have that problem in Baltimore.

FTR, I hope he stays to finish out his contract and prove what can be done with healthy guys here.

Saleh will need to have a plan at OC. That's a huge pain point for Harbaugh tenure in BAL.

Ryan's is having a similar issue in HOU.
This easily could've been one of his best or the best he's ever coached as a DC with us... guys dropping like flies every week either from playing or at practice. Every week! It's not easy just to plug n play rookies (some aren't that good) and 3rd string talent and PS backups. It's hard to build chemistry and what not

He's a good leader. He can be a good HC in a good organization with a legit QB. Get him a good offense with a real QB and let's see what he can do on a team other than the Jets. I don't mind if he goes or stays. I just hope we hire a good replacement

Agreed
Saleh is a leader of men… get rid of Shanahan and hire McDaniel to lead the offense
Saleh is a leader and this team needs an emotional guy like him where players can feed off him. In that sense he's awesome and worth it.

Schematically tho I dont know...I dont think hes that sound. When I first saw Mike McDonald defense, I said holy sh!t this take on Fangios zone is actually brilliant schematically.
Never had that with Saleh. Blitzes are somehow often late, aside from corner/safety blitz theres no crazy creativity when undermanned. I get that hes missing a lot of talent, I really do. But I wish his schemes could be just a bit better. Not asking for a Belichick masterclass or McDonald, but at least have some disguised looks

This is one of the reasons I actually wanted us to maybe try a 3-4 look before they got back together with Saleh.
Great DC but if I'm hiring defensive HC, he has to be an innovator like Macdonald. This is why I believe Minter, who helped Macdonald develop that scheme, could be the next up and is the defensive coach to get this cycle. Saleh is just a step below these guys. I think he comes back, gets in another year with a healthier defense to improve his stock and there might be better openings available next year too.

The only player on the niners that starts on their DL is Bosa. And Warner starts. maybe Demo at CB. They blitz the lowest amount(i believe) .
Nobody else, Hell maybe even makes the roster.

Maybe Purdy and CMC. Kittle and Trent start.

They messed up paying BA and not Hufanga and Ward(or Greenlaw).

Im not sure why youre replying to my post with this.

Im not comparing their roster to Seattles. I'm talking about scheme. Mike McDonald had his scheme in Baltimore and then he built it in Seattle. The scheme was innovative.

Saleh was the DC in 2019. We had a great defense and all kind of great talent. Buckner, Armstead, Ford, Bosa dline. Warner and Greenlaw at LB. Ward at safety and Sherman at corner.

And yet the scheme wasn't anything special. It was simply get pressure with four with an elite line and play sound on the back end. There wasnt any exotic looks, there wasnt double blitzers, nothing of the sort.

Do you see what Im talking about ? McDonald took the Fangio 3-4 zone scheme that is known for being passive and playing off talent, and made it exotic, unpredictable and scary.

Yeah sure, it worked so well for him with the Jets.
And what a genius idea to hire McDaniel as OC. Let's say that it would actually work, McDaniel would be there for one season and you would have to find another OC the next year.
Dude took two interviews mid week on a short playoff week.

Maybe should have spent more time focusing on the team he's being paid to coach for and you could have done better than getting blown out 41 points by Sam darnold...
Spent more time doing HC interviews that preparing for this game. Well Good Riddance.
