Shanahan and him are such a great one two punch.
Now it's crystal clear that Robert probably won't be there next season.
I hope Kyle can talk with Jim Schwartz. He's not perfect but he knows the Defense.

Saleh's replacement is already on staff - Paul Casey "Gus" Bradley. I think he was hired precisely because everyone knew that Saleh would get a HC job in 2027. Hopefully, young York will take advantage of "no salary cap for coaches" and back the Brinks truck up to Saleh driveway to keep him. I like Jim Schwartz, but IMHO Gus Bradley would be better for consistency.

If Saleh goes, we MUST bring in " May the SCHWARTZ Be With You " ....

Trust me, Jim Schwartz isn't happening.

.. why is that?

not because he once got rejected to be or HC or was it the Harbaugh Shake ??

Pittsburgh is open now with Tomlin stepping down.

I think they've only had 5 coaches in their history? So a pretty stable position but he would need to make sure Rodgers doesn't stick around. Or if he does he mentors their next 1st road pick QB.
Dude's as good as gone now.

I bet all HC candidates are vying for that job. Great organization, winning culture, and long term job security. Saleh would be a good fit there as well.

Pittsburgh needs an offensive minded coach. Their offense stinks and they'll either draft a QB or try and find one in free agency.

Normally I'd agree but they've never had an offensive minded head coach. Every single one has come from the defensive side.

They will for sure want to hire an offensive mind. Just my opinion
Tomlin stepping down.

He'll take Bradley with him as well so better get Schwartz asap.

I would hope they at least interview the Cards former DC Nick Rallis. He got dealt a raw hand with all the injuries they had but getting to listen to him talk about his approach to defense he seems very pragmatic and open minded. A young coach with a bright future. Came up under Mike Zimmer and Jonathan Gannon.

I definitely like new and proven blood if we cannot get Schwartz.

Yeah, Saleh gone . This is the best job situation, maybe ever.

Everyone just assumes that an opening means its his job.

I bet Freeman goes to the Steelers.

The Steelers and Ravens are perfect for Saleh. I bet every top college coach is looking at those two jobs too though.

I don't see the Steelers wanting Saleh, just doesn't fit IMO.. Steelers may be calling Eugene right now...
