He's not even close. He was a complete and utter embarassing disaster with the jets. Good DC horrible HC.

I wouldn't put the Jets problems on Saleh. He had Hackett forced on him because Rodgers wanted him, and when he was fired the team became substantially worse.

No he wasn't, the Jets are the disaster. He'll have a QB in Baltimore unlike in NY

Maybe I'm being overly optimistic, but I don't see Saleh getting a HC gig this year. If there was a shot at replacing him with Schwartz, I'd be all about it, though. Just don't think he did enough in his one season back to make any teams really want him. Especially when there are guys like Harbaugh, Kubiak and McCarthey out there.

If he goes to Arizona that's a tough ownership to work for and no franchise QB, and dealing with getting rid of Kyler Murray will be a headache. That should be a polite pass from his agent.

I'm not sold on Saleh as a good head coach. Heck I'm not even sold on him being a top tier DC. He's good but he isn't great IMO. There was a stretch of games the defense couldn't stop the opposing team and the only way they did get off the field was through the other teams mistakes. I'll chalk most of it up to injuries but still we have some glaring holes and he isn't adjusting.
we are in our 18th game and still can't scheme up any pressure. No exotic blitz packages, nothing. Just the same scheme over and over praying the opposing team makes a mistake on 3rd down.
With that said, if he gets an offer he's gone. I don't think he's an attractive hire so he'll probably have to settle for one of the crappy jobs like the Cardinals or Browns.

I wouldn't even be mad if Saleh took the Ravens job. That's a fantastic organization.

If he doesn't coach next year he could quite possibly be doing a role like that but with his brother in LA

Yeah, with our luck Saleh will end up being one of the last HC hirings and Schwartz, along with any other great DC candidates will already e employed. Guess it would be Bradley in that situation.

Harbaugh should get another HC opportunity immediately. Question is whether he might want to take some time off and wait for the right opportunity. I could see the Raiders being all over him.
