Yorks aren't paying a 3rd coach in 3 years...Chip it will be unless a larger paying college gig entices him to void the Niners deal

Penn State, LSU, Texas, or Oregon? I don't think he'll need a pay raise to jump off a reputation killing ship.

The question you should be asking is who the GM will be...in all fairness to Kelly, he clearly doesn't have the skill position players he needs on offense and he's got a pretty young defense without it's two best players, Bowman and Ian Williams.

If McCarthy is let go in GB it would be foolish to not kick the tires. He's a proven NFL HC with ties to the WCO and this team.

as long as he leaves dom capers in GB, id be all for it.
Crazy that GB has been working so long to get that dominate front 7 and when they do, everything else falls to sh*t. No idea what is going on with Rodgers. Some of my co workers are packer fans and they want him gone. I said...hey, we will gladly take him off your hands in a heart beat lol

I don't know if Jed can stomach paying for two unemployed coaches, along with a new coach.

if Chips leaves himself for a college gig, would he void the next 4 years on his contract?

We will either see this guy at LSU or at USC.. but watch it now, those guys from the U is now wondering how KELLY would end the MONOPOLY in the State of Florida!!

I klike Kyle Shannahan but, IMO, Chip will be here unless he quits.

Agree! I really like him and the way he attacks the defense. He showed that he can make a mediocre player function, but with a player like Jones...he can coordinate a day our WR would would love to have in 6 games.

The best they can do is hold on to Kelly for a few more years, if he turns out to not be the guy, hopefully by that point the roster is a bit further along and they have at least a young QB to develop.
Why did Hue Jackson (the #1 coaching candidate last off season) take the worst head coaching job? Everyone wanted to interview him. This isn't college football where Louisville can win a national title and still not be as good of job as one of the big 5 schools. NFL has 32 jobs and when one comes open you are most likely going to take it.
