That's a headline I never want to see as a 49er fan. 49ers trade for bradford.

Agree
Add to that that Bradford probably won't make it through an entire season w/out an injury and the price pais is excessive.

Wow, the Eagles took the Vikings to the cleaners with this trade - and that after the Vikes GM went on record saying that he wasn't going to mortgage the team's future. Now imagine if Sam Bradford suffers another serious injury after all of this - which, frankly, isn't out of the realm of possiblity because the Vikes' pass-blocking o-line is one of the worst in the league. Bridgewater somehow made it work for him because of his great mobility, but Bradford is a statue. He will be a sitting duck behind that line.

I still chuckle about the bradford trade. I have a couple of viking friends on FB, it was a full meltdown.

The Eagles are likely to end up with a good pick unless Turner pulls off a miracle with Bradford.Originally posted by PacTiger:I still chuckle about the bradford trade. I have a couple of viking friends on FB, it was a full meltdown.

Frankly, it's squarely in the realm of probability.

Its not like Teddy Bridgewater set the world on fire last season and they were still a playoff team. The Vikings will go as far as their run game and defense will take them.

So essentially the vikings traded a 1st and 4th for maybe 15 games of Bradford.

Really still cant believe the Vikes did that. It just doesnt make any sense. Just have a s**t season, take your top 10-15 pick and try for the playoffs/SB next year. They gave away their only consolation prize for Teddy going down.
