I thought he had a shot until it came out that they were looking at extending Tomlinson. He was making too much money for his average to worse level of play. Wish him the best but this is pretty much addition by subtraction.

Being able to play like s**t at multiple positions isn't a good reason to keep him around. We're thin at the guard position, but that's because of a lack of quality, not just quantity.

He's the only guy who can play both OG and OT I'd say. They're going to be searching for another lineman.
Magnuson can play all the positions on the line and is alot cheaper.
