Yeah, we've seen it happen plenty of times. But it also allows them more room for error down the road. The 1999 Rams won their first 6 on the way to a Superbowl. The Eagles were the hottest team last year until the Wentz injury. But the good start allowed them to retain home field and ended up champs. Football is a fickle sport. If something like key injuries happen and a team loses its momentum, it can be hard to get it back even if everyone returns healthy.

The Rams are legit. I hate that truth, but they are going to have home field barring injuries.

Goff has become a monster under the midget. Amazing when he looked horrible under Fisher.

This team could very easily win the Superbowl. No real weaknesses.

Like the LA Dodgers its on them if they lose.

Fisher could never find a legit OC. Working for him would be a career killer. He ran the offense even though his background was defense. He promoted Rob Boras to be his yes man. He never valued the receiver position unless they can block. Running back was top priority. The ten yard zone beyond the LOS was his thing. Defenders made numerous comments over the years how easy it was to defend them because they could just focus in that area. Stack the box and be in position for the short passes. Brady would have struggled in that offense.

Fisher hired his homies. He did not spend one hell of one second looking for talent.

I actually like discussing with fans of other teams. Sometimes we have blinders and don't see what is really going on with our teams. Opposing fans can see it from a different point of view. Although I do see posts that are more like wishful thinking than reality from both sides.
