It's funny how much you think you know. I have rarely talked to Atlantic Blue or Red Alice or whatever she's calling herself. We have posted on three different sites, but rarely with each other. She saw a friendly face (me), but something went sideways which I don't know about. But whatever, believe whatever stupid shyte you want.

So I've asked this on another forum, but after every catch, why does cook try to act tough and spread his arms like he has the biggest lats on Earth?

I haven't examined it that closely, but I know he is known as "the archer" prior to coming to the Rams..Could what he's doing be drawing back a bow string with an imaginary bow? Just a guess.

EDIT: That's exactly what he's doing:(From his Days with the Saints)
"For Cooks, the celebratory act of pulling back an imaginary arrow after a touchdown is a sign of reverence, a symbol of devotion that hadn't caused any problems, at least until Washington cornerback Josh Norman was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct and fined $10,000 for performing a similar celebration near the sideline after an interception two weeks ago."

napoleon complex? Little dudes always flexing.
So I thought I'd sign up seeing a couple Rams fans here. Hopefully this can be civil discussion and no one gets banned.

From what I see this division is shaping up to be a two team race, but I will wait to see what Seattle does before I commit to that. I still think they have the best quarterback in the division until proven otherwise. After a not so stellar start in week one it looks like Jimmy GQ was much more efficient according to the stats. I didn't watch yesterday's game but I watched the vikes game. What I see is a good coach who can scheme receivers open. It seemed like there were a lot of open receivers in the vikes game but the QB missed too many times. He musta been better against the Lions.

The Rams did what good teams are suppose to do. Take care of business against lesser teams. Don't get caught in the proverbial trap game. So far so good. But being a long time Rams fan I know all too well how the other shoe can drop. I take it one game at a time and I hope the team does too. On paper they do seem to have a whole lot going for them. The offense is getting better but I see the result of not playing in the preseason at times. Fortunately they were not playing two of the better teams.

All in all, its clear the 49ers are a much improved team with Shanahan and Jimmy GQ. They are going to put up points most times. But I think the defense is going to be their achilles heel. I see them winning about 8 or 9 games. Possibly 10. But in the tough NFC I don't see them making the playoffs this year. If they go out and improve the defense, and another year with Jimmy GQ in the system, I definitely see them contending next year and beyond. Possibly even after the proverbial window the Rams currently have is starting to close.

I do think the Superbowl window is wide open for the Rams the this year and next and expect them to be a playoff team a couple more years after that. Its up to them to get it done. The only thing that can stop them now is injuries and/or over confidence. So far they don't seem to be buying into the hype.

Football players do things to pump themselves up before and during the game. I see other players do that. Its a game of the highest intensity and whatever keeps them fully primed. It only bothers opposing fans I suppose.
Look at our back up RB, sticking 57...It was a freakin' thing of beauty...

Best team in the NFC. puriod.
I'm cautiously optimistic. I know how good they can be. Good enough to win the Superbowl. And the window is going to be open for at least a couple years. The skill position players on offense are locked up for a lot longer than that. But I've been a Rams fan too long to get carried away. I know how things can turn south. I'm going to enjoy this one week at a time. Sooner or later they're going to lose. How they respond will tell us all we need to know. Last year they responded well after each loss. No back to back losses. Too bad the last one ended the season.

I would like this to be an easy division to win like the Patriots have enjoyed over the years. But the 49ers offense is for real. I think we're going to see a return to the rivalry. Lately it seems like when one team is doing well the other isn't. I like the comfort of a weak division but it sure is more fun when both teams are in a battle for the division. We could be seeing that over the next few years.
